Krawk Day Special
Krawk Day Adventure
No, don't be scared of your surroundings,
Keep on walking through the Fungus Cave.
Light dissolves as you go farther,
You find it tasking to be brave.
It's cold, and damp, and not the cleanest,
Inside this well-hidden little cavern,
Those pirates tried their best to warn you,
When you visited their tavern.
But you have a purpose for your travels,
Which keeps you walking ever forward,
You wish to see the exquisite Krawk,
That you always have adored.
"Elusive creatures!", you think aloud,
As you stumble through the shadow.
Then, suddenly, a Krawk appears,
With green shining scales and eyes aglow.
Masters of mischief, fans of fun,
Krawks are always ready for a thrill.
When it comes to playing games,
They have no shortage of skill.
You hold your breath as it walks by,
Your favorite species in all the land,
Despite the darkness and the fungus,
This adventure was quite grand.
Ahoy, ye landlubbers, and listen well,
Grab yer grog and take a seat.
The tale of Dorak to ye I'll tell,
This Krawk's exploits be quite a feat.
The lowly blue Krawk found his great fame,
Despite the dastardly Black Pawkeet's blow.
To smithereens was his ship maimed,
And to Davy Jetsam's Locker did his coins go.
The scuttlin' would have made other pirates quit,
But Dorak not be like those scurvy slimes.
Armed with naught but his rowboat and wit,
The Krawk returned to the scene of the crime.
The whirlpools and mines were a hassle, aye,
Dorak, however, was a Krawk on a mission.
From the seafloor, the dubloons he did pry,
Bronze, silver, and gold brought his wealth to fruition.
Though he be rich, Dorak still be sailin' by day,
See his rowboat now, yarr, Dorak, anchors aweigh!
My Grey Krawk: Celebrating Krawk Day!
6 year old me had many big dreams,
To join the most famous Altador Cup teams,
To be the best at Turmac Roll, to find a Rock,
And, most importantly, to own a Krawk.
I had no preference as to what colour was best,
All Krawks were so beautiful, not one was less,
From royals to white, from brown to pink,
There are so many choices! How could I think!
Then the day came: my wish came true,
And there he was: at first he was Blue,
The prettiest Krawk that you ever did see,
And guess what? He belonged to me!
I thought and lamented as to what colour to choose,
But I had only to win, for how could I lose?
So I chose to paint Grey, and he remains it today.
My dream pet, my Krawk, celebrating Krawk day!
The Tale of Lady Frostbite (Krawk Day)
On a day we celebrate the great species of Krawk,
We should remember their history does not entirely rock.
A krawk born from the fungus cave,
She was found due to a massive tidal wave.
As a child lost at sea,
A colony of Darblats became her adoptee.
These tiny petpets nurtured the girl,
Teaching her so many things, including how to twirl.
When she became of age,
The darblats gave her the stage.
She became their ruler,
And made plans to make the world a little bit cooler.
She had years of pent-up anger and frustration,
That stemmed from feeling abandoned by her nation.
She wanted nothing more than a little revenge,
But always wondered “who do I avenge?”
The answer was simple, the whole world of Neopia,
For she wanted to destroy their utopia.
Though she was stopped from turning the world into a snowcone,
Her name became well-known.
Her story broke the hearts of her Krawk Island home
And parents all around became mary of letting their children roam.
For no one wanted another child lost at sea,
Knowing the darblats could be their adoptee.
I remember many moons ago,
That our beloved Krawk Island disappeared.
Vanished without a trace,
It was even worse than what we feared.
Stuck in a shanty, with his pet Warf,
Gavrill McGill survived the attack.
Tentacles sprang out from the sea,
Pulling the island down into the black.
How this Krawk survived is beyond me.
His shanty should have collapsed in.
But, he stood tall and recruited help,
And the search for the island did begin.
Together, we searched the seas for signs,
That our Island was still afloat.
Ships of all size, roaming the sea,
Some as small as Dorak’s boat.
Together, we brought the islands as one,
With Krawk Island restored to glory.
Gavrill McGill was named the governor,
Which concluded this great story.
We Love Krawks!
There may not be
a lot of Krawks
but as we know
each of them rocks
Let's all sit back
a species you cannot
sneer at or hate.
Whether you have
dubloons or nay
These pets are worth
the price to pay
Krawks are fearless
and gentle too
whether zapped Zombie
or created blue
Hug your beloved Krawk
for today's their day
Though they are rare,
for you they will
Krawk Island Party
Today, Krawk Island
is the happiest of lands
with festivities cooler
than its waters
and smiles warmer
than its sands
Neopets of every color
gather to celebrate
members of a species
rare but noble and great
There may not be many
of its kind in the land
but there are plenty
deserving of their own
personal marching band!
They eat Krawk-themed
drink Krawkade too.
At a Krawk Island party
There is so much to do!
Krawk Day Surprises
Krawk Day is finally here
Time to spread some
today will bring
are bound to make
most dance and sing
Will there be
great new colors
or clothes to wear,
perhaps some foods
for all to share?
I get rather impatient
and simply cannot wait
May their special day
make each Krawk
feel more than great!
Poem for Krawks
Grown up Petpets.
Krawks are here to impress.
Pirates of the sea, soldiers of Neopia.
ARRR! One of the bravest species you have ever seen.
Krawks are where the magic happens.
Come celebrate with us in the Fungus Cave!
Do not forget to bring food.
And we will see a new beginning, ARRR!.
A Krawk's April Fools Day Prank
The crafty young Krawk,
leapt straight out of bed,
as today was the day,
to be mischievous instead.
He bounded downstairs,
three steps at a time,
as he'd thought up a prank,
and the prank was sublime.
Into the kitchen,
the gleeful Krawk ran,
grabbing clear plastic wrap,
from next to the pan.
He covered the doorway,
with the clear plastic wrap,
hoping his brother,
would walk into his trap.
Then sneaking upstairs,
to go back to bed,
he opened the door,
and water fell on his head!
A bucket was balanced,
on top of his door,
the Krawk knew the culprit,
it was his brother, for sure!
The Paint Brush Pirates
One day a Krawk who was green
Told his friends of a fabulous scheme.
For he'd read in a book
That if you really do look,
You'll find a paint brush of Pirates supreme.
So they looked for the paint brush galore,
Found nothing; and what's more,
A small, poor, Ogrin
Got a pain in his shin
And needed Krawk's toy eye patch to cover the sore!
So, for the paint brush, they set off again,
But this time, gathered more men,
They finally got it!
And they really thought it
Was much better than pencil or pen.
They ran to the Rainbow Pool
and made use of their fantastic tool
With stroke after stroke,
Their hearts were not broke!
Now they looked wonderfully cruel!
They bought themselves a fine ship
And sailed Neopia from top to tip.
And here's how it ends:
They remained very good friends
Decked out in their new roguish kit.
Quest of the Plushie Krawk
A patchwork Krawk climbs rugged terrains,
stumbles and clambers up mineral veins,
a Plushie canvas dappled in clay.
Her cottony body is not suited for adventure,
with stuffing and stitches all torn and tender,
slight winds could lead her astray.
With a sewn on tail that follows behind,
this raggedy Krawk is eager to find,
the answer to the quest that is in play;
One of the rarest of flowers,
she had spent quite some hours,
searching all of Neopia without delay.
Escaping The Beast of Tyrannian plateau,
trudging through heavy Terror Mountain snow,
her stitches once more threatened to fray.
Towering above on distant cliffs,
traipsing and bounding around winding abyss,
this Krawk would complete her goal today.
With a glimmer of hope,
and a skitter up a slope,
the path that particularly lead her way:
Was a forest glade past Flat Rock Quarry,
by the Altador-Shenkuu boundary,
there it sat, a rare bouquet.
Completing her quest from the Fountain Faerie,
to patch up her body, unraveled and weary,
she knew it was just a small price to pay.
With that journey she had taken,
although torn, tattered and shaken,
she would rather be Zombie any day.
