Well, I bet you all can guess what happened. New layout! Sorry the art isn't the greatest, I should not have attempted such a difficult pose, but I tries my best. Hope you all enjoy it! I also retyped the intro. Man was it horrible!



*"Hi guest!!" a young looking kougra shouts as he bounds joyfully into your view.



About Me
He stood before you, his brown fur reflecting the sun's warm light. He was rather large in size, but it looked as if he had the energy of a youngster, as he ginned into your face. But as you look longer, you saw traces of wisdom in the bright flaming eyes, etched in the faint wrinkles that lined his face.
*"My names is Flaries, I live around here sometimes," he said cheerfully.

You smile, for you could imagine living here yourself. You stood on a tropical island, surrounded by warm, turquoise oceans that lapped at the sandy beaches softly. Tropical plants lined the beaches a ways past the tide lines, and a few pathways could be seen intertwining among the vegetation.
*"What do you mean, sometimes?" You say, suddenly realizing that was indeed what the young kougra had said.
He sat down, stretching out on the warm sands, "I only come here because Fleana lives here; some of my sisters are sea-bound, so it makes sense to live here on Zareno Island. I prefer to stay on the topmost reaches of Terror Mountains, where the snow dances along the Northern Lights, and your so high up in the sky that you can nearly reach out and touch the stars. I have a cave to myself."*
Frowning now, you shiver slightly at the thought of the cold winds that raced along the snowy mountain sides and shook your head, "I'm afraid I like a warmer climate myself."*
He nodded back, "Most people seam to, anyways. It's a bit of a hard trip to get up there, the only way it's really possible is to fly. Any other way takes too long."*
*"Can you fly then?" You say uncertainly, for indeed, he had no wings.
*"Oh yeah. I have wings...but there are kind of annoying at times, they only form when I feel a strong emotion, so, you get the idea."*
He paused then smiled brightly, standing off and shaking his sand coated pelt, "Come on, you have to meet Fluffer!"*
And he bounded off, headed down the beached.

Hurrying, you race after Flaries, for he was ahead of you, then he disappeared around a bend in the beach. As you turn around the trees that had blocked your view, you find your self looking into a sunny little cove, where the water was shallow, and there were various rocks sticking out of the water like small islands.
Walking over to the brown kougra, you can now see a small Petpet, a Tasu you believe, rolling around in the sand.
*"guest, this is Fluffer, Fluffer this is guest", he said proudly, "Fluffer is my best friend, and he's a pirate! We like to go around and scare people, yet it doesn't work all that much..."*

You sit down on a cool rock that sat in the shade of a few bushed that clumped together, "So, Flaries, tell me about yourself. I seam to be stuck here on this island for a while...so we might as while pass the time by."*
He nodded, and plopped down in the sand himself, "Alright, but it is a bit of a long story."*



My story!

Part one - Lost under the Stars

Ah hah, for all that have read this, we all know how crappy this is. Two years too old as well. No structure x.x

So, if you don't know, I can't sit still for very long enough to write for long periods of time...I like doing adoptables better xD It may be a while before this is up.
Feel free to send me a neomail and yell at me to work on this =D




Flaries's Abilites
���¤When Flaries feels a strong emotion, transparent wings form on his back, the look mostly solid though. He always wears his feathers, the point, we have no idea. He just smiles whenever someone asks.
���¤ Flaries is still young and has many lay seasons in front of him, so as of yet all his powers are unknown.




My Family

Icecreasts

Born into a family where she was judged by her looks, loved for her pelt, and made an outcaste by her wings -- Icecreasts never really learned what it was like to love. Ice's parents had kept her only for her magnificent pelt and flying abilities, until teh day came where day she fell of their cloud that acted as an island, and pelted towards the churning sea below...
As she gasped for breath, she felt her body change, mutating into a form unknown to her...a creature of the sea.
Ice tends to push Flaries in the water quite a bit when he bugs her...

Iaz

Iaz is the elemental of light, runaway from the life of properness, she finds she can control the sun's rays, after a nasty thunderstorm that helps her focus her powers... always carrying a wooden staff, she'll fight with it easily. Stubborn and strong, she'll willing to fight, even for a lost cause.

Floresta

Floresta, also known as Zakirrinoa, is the element of earth, and guardian of the first forest - the first forest of magic. Growing up was not easy for him, born into a poor family and being an outcast made him all the more shy. But once he gets lost in the forest of Toroee, he finds strength where he never knew he had.
Floresta likes to throw mud at Flaries, and they tend to get into playful fights a lot, being the only males xD

Sioa

Elemental of fire...
Narrowly, Sioa, a young Maraquan Uni, escaped the disaster that ruined Maraqua. In a fright, she left her home and fled into the waters of eternal darkness. Somehow she finds she can light her way, with the fire of the sea..or is from within herself?
Whenever you see Sioa on land, most of the time, you can see Flaries riding her, much to the Uni's dislike.

Vianna

Upon the grassy plains of Africa, you can find a silent being overlooking the animals grazing, her eyes darting over the land searching for any sign of pain. For Vianna is Healer of the Winds, who's power is of air and who rides the winds in their mighty silence. Unlike all my other characters, Vianna dose not have an actual neopet representing her. Not yet anyways.

Fluffer



Fluffer is my awesome Petpet. Fleana let me name him, and Fluffer was the best name I could think of, but I like it!
Fluffer used to be just a regular Tasu, but once the new Pirate color came out, I got a paint brush and painted him right away! We always hang out, and he likes to ride on my back when we fly across the night sky. Though, I think, now that he's pirate, he prefers the sea more.



Flaries's Custom Adoptable Requests are - Closed. Forever. x.xI'm sick and tired of dealing with stupid people. Almost all the neomails I get are from people who cannot seam to read the rules! I've made over 200 adoptables, which is cool and all. But at a half hour each, thats nearly 100 hours of my life, and what do I get in return? MORE STUPID MAILS.

Why the moon?

Well, as the stars left the mark upon me, for that is why have spots as well as strips, I knew they still held secrets. So what dose the Moon hold? Nothing but the truth. I looked to the sky one night, and the stars, they whispered to me in an unknown language. The told me the sky is where we travel in our dreams, and look to for hope. The open sky...where we travel when our eyes close and on our transparent wings, even if they are real or not.

Hang onto the truth, and fly among the stars, and go in search of where your dreams form in shimmering light.

Ummm...this has a story behind it. To make things short; we were fighting over who had the worst art when we first joined deviantART.
