Pixel Pets: Experiences of an 8-Bit Neopian

The other day, my Koi asked me a difficult question. "How come all the other pets have so much higher resolution than me?" he said, his Pantone 292 dorsal fin drooping in a frown. "I feel so blue." Stumped, I didn't know how to answer him. The truth is I hadn't thought about the origin of my fuzzy little Koi, let alone his spectre-like swamp gas sister (that's a story for another day). The little Koi and I had found each other in the Pound, both pre-formed and accepting of each other's unknown stories. But I knew that the day would eventually come when my young pet would wish, from a sense of curiosity and desire for belonging, to know the nature of their history.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off to Work We Go
If you’re like me, you’d do anything for your Neopets. Buying them toys, curing them when they’re sick, feeding them when they’re hungry, taking them to Kelp (are you SURE you don’t want to take any leftovers this time? Welp, that’s 60k down the drain…)

Bouncy Dream Survival Guide
I had the most awful, bizarre dream the other night, more of a nightmare, really. Rather than finding myself in my cosy, wet home in Maraqua, I was lying on a wobbly, bouncy bed of jelly in a room also made entirely out of jelly.

Lupe Pack Detectives-Copycat:Part Seven
It had been dubbed by the Neopian public as the ‘Decision of the Year’; as this was the first time, or at least from what I could remember, that Judge Hog would formally announce his decision and punishment on Ebenezer to the Neopian public after informing us first.
