A Trip to the Tomb

It was a cold summer night, all the people on Mystery Island had gone to bed. There were but two people awake on the island, an old Nimmo keeping an eye on the Rock Pool, and the Island Mystic. Or so they thought.

The Melon Gem

It's a little bundle of green fur.

That's what I take to be the scenario, at first. Slowly, her head peeks up, and pink eyes gaze at me questioningly. Nubby black horns gleam a bit as she stands up in a wobbly way, and as my leg moves outward in sheer maternal instinct, she falls against my knee.

Tales From Elysian Fields: Neopian Appetites

You’re entering a world as real as you make it out to be; there are no limitations to the possible inputs and outputs. But unlike an equation, you can’t chart relics of a time yet to come — an opening into the dark matter before us. Free from the shackles of reality, you are about to take a walk in Elysian Fields.

A Stealthy Shoyru's Mission

Deep within the mountains of Shenkuu, a tiny temple rested carved into the side of one of the highest peaks. The chipped gray paint of the walls and the torn red banner that waved aimlessly gave the impression that this particular temple was most likely abandoned long ago. "Story of the Hidden Tower" by x_mystichorse_x
"Why nanny, if the tower is so grand and beholds the beautiful queen, should it be hidden at all?” Asked the tired little royal kougra as she held onto the silk sheets. “Well,” she started stroking Mila’s fur, “the tower is grand, and it is beautiful, but if it was not hidden Mila, thieves like Dr. Sloth, Meuka or the Jelly Chia could put their hands on the tower’s precious items and do whatever they would like with them.”

Mother's Balloon: Part Seven
The Worthingtons went to work, but their houseguest remained in her seat. She did not try to help this time around, and she wondered if she ever would again. Her hands hurt too much to hold a knife to slice cheese or butter bread, and even if she was able to carry her own plate to the table, she would probably just drop it and smash it on the floor, and then everyone would step on the pieces, and would end up dropping their dishes as well.

Arthur: A Weapon's Tale: Part Four
By the ninth day, Arthur was weak and incredibly sore. His dreary eyes glanced quickly at the bruises and blisters that covered his feet. As Art staggered, he fell fast onto the cold ground. The fog in the forest surrounded his rigid body, and he fought to strain his head up. Art could see the flicker of some gold up ahead, and he slowly heaved his body forward, lacking the strength to stand back up.
