Quote of the Week
I almost didn't realize what I said until after I said it. “I'll join you.”
All eyes were on me. I had no doubt that the three didn't believe what I just said. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't say it. You know what? I didn't regret saying that. I wanted to go along with Corbin and Kell.
The Other Kau
With Kau Day quickly approaching this 19th Day of Relaxing, I decided it was time to sit down for an interview with a certain Striped Kau that seems to be mostly hidden from the public eye. We've all heard much about Kalora the Kau, of course. We've also spent a lot of time learning about the history of Kauvara, her Uncle Klum, and the rest of her long line of family members that have run our favorite Neopian Magic Shop. But who haven't we heard from? That would be Allita, Kauvara's sister.

Most of the Trading Post
Many users fall into the trap of selling their Negg for too low of a price, or buying an expensive paint brush for far too much.
It does not have to be this way, however. The Trading Post is actually an excellent opportunity for Neopians to gain value, either through getting the items they need or even making a profit from trading. This guide will go into some tips on buying and selling items and give all Neopians a fair chance at making the Trading Post work for them.

Splat! The Slushie waitress turned back to see that the Lime Berry Slushie she had just prepared and whipped down the table had fallen to the ground. She looked toward the door and saw the impatient fan who ordered it running back toward the Yooyuball field.
“Seriously? I made that in two seconds,” she sighed, and shuffled toward the mess to clean up. As she did, a roar began in the distance, and the ground began to shake.
Fifty thirsty Neopians, half decked out in the red and blue of Meridell, and the rest sporting the pink and green of Faerieland, stampeded to the Slushie counters and began to yell their orders at the poor Tuskaninny waitress while also yelling at the rival fans. Apparently, Meridell and Faerieland were tied after the regulation time during the day’s surprisingly close Yooyuball game, and the fans were desperate for a Slushie before the shootout.
The waitress sighed once more, and then put on a huge smile and started to grab empty plastic cups. She pointed to restless fans one at a time, ran to the machines to get what they wanted, slapped a sticker on the cup corresponding to the right team, and whipped them down the polished counters – no time to walk it over. Some fans got the wrong flavours, but they barely had time to complain before the next order was underway.
After hundreds of cups had been slung down the tabletops, drained, and then left for the waitress to pick up, she finally had a moment of quiet. The shootout was about to start, and no one wanted to miss it, running back at full speed back into the hot Altador sun. But the waitress had a nagging feeling about the rush. Despite the huge amount of people, she felt it had been quieter than usual for some reason.

"Ohhhh holy Kau did you see that goal by Hawkshanks yesterday?!” Terra squealed before taking another bite of her olive salad.
“The one that tied the game?” her blue Grundo Hyren chimed in. “Yeah—and don’t forget about Kevix’s crazy pass in the last third! That Yooyu was about to explode!” He took a gulp of fruity nectar, then glanced down to make sure none of it had spilled on his vintage Team Kreludor jersey.
Hyren and his family sat in Exquisite Ambrosia on a warm afternoon in the month of Relaxing, nibbling on tasty food and discussing his favourite topic this time of year—the Altador Cup. Hyren wished it would never end. Then again, perhaps it was a good thing it only lasted for a month, because for those thirty days he became a raving sports maniac.
The Grundo sat back in his chair with a sigh. “It’s just a shame we lost,” he said. “And to Meridell, no less.” He spat out the name of the other team like it was a disease.
His brown-haired owner chuckled. “Yeah, but look at how awesome Kreludor’s doing in the standings,” she said.
“Also,” Blynn, his Disco-coloured Zafara sister said, “if you cared so much about winning, we wouldn’t root for Kreludor every year.” She crunched into a pita chip.
“No, you’re right,” Hyren said. “It’s a matter of pride. I’m proud to support Kreludor no matter how they perform.”
“Me too,” Terra said. “Gotta love a team whose colours are purple and orange. Not everybody has the audacity to pull that off.”
Next to her, her faerie Draik, Pharazon, chewed ponderously on a hunk of cheese while he read a copy of Advanced Learning perched in his lap. “Would it kill us to care about being on the winning team just once, though?” Pharazon asked. “Or at least a different team?”
Hyren shot him a glare. “Where’s your team spirit?”

“Extra! Extra! Read all about it!” she shrieked, joining Snaw on the couch.
Scary raised an eyebrow. “What is wrong with you two freaks?” the purple Bruce snarled.
Snaw jumped off the couch. “Chadley, THE biggest celebrity in all of Neopia, is visiting the bookstore tomorrow for a meet-and-greet session! Calla and I have been dancing ever since somebody told us about it!”
Sparkles clapped. “Ooh, how fun!” the pink Bruce gushed. She, like Snaw and Calla, adore Chadley and thought the green Zafara was the coolest Neopian ever. Scary, however, just rolled her eyes. “So, does this mean we’ll be seeing him tomorrow?” Sparkles gasped.
“We have to!” Snaw insisted. “The first thirty fans will get free Chadley Usuki dolls! There will also be free posters, buttons and masks, but an Usuki is too good to miss out!”
Calla leapt off the couch and screamed. “CHADLEY WILL BE MY BEST FRIEND FOREVER AND I SHALL STEAL HIS HAIR!” She danced excitedly and Snaw joined her.
“Will your pets be joining us too, Calla?” asked Sparkles.
“All my pets are hiding fro me,” Calla explained. She shrugged. “Oh well. This means more Chadley for me!”
“So do all of us have to accompany you freaks to se Mr. Overrated?” Scary pressed, folding her arms over her chest.
“You can either come or stay here and do nothing,” Snaw instructed.
Sparkles nudged Scary. “Come on, Scare! It’s we’re talking about! Wouldn’t you love to meet him too??”
“I’d rather eat coal,” Scary remarked.
“Perfect! We’ll have coal for tomorrow’s evening meal,” Snaw declared.
Scary facepalmed. “You’re all morons,” she grumbled as Snaw, Calla and Sparkles chattered eagerly about the meet-and-greet.
“It’s going to be the best day ever!” Calla insisted.
