Hello there, I am Dragon949, the Shoyru. One of my favorite things to do is fly around with my pet cirrus, Flying Nimbus. My master took that picture of me on Nimbus a while ago. Yup, you guessed it. He got his name from Goku's flying nimbus on Dragonball, and Dragonball Z. Nimbus and I soar among the clouds all around and look down upon Neopia! Flying is such great fun! My friend, Doruberu, taught me how to fly. I will get into all of that later. I wasn't too good at first, but with a lot of practice, I can now take off and land with ease. I still enjoy flying around on Nimbus every chance I get though.

If you were wondering how I got where I am now, listen to this story of my life. It's a little sad at first, but don't worry. Everything turns out great in the end.

The first thing I remember is my mothers warm eyes gazing down upon me. We were in a room with bright lights, and white walls. I was the runt of 5 baby red shoyrus. We were in a cage at the adoption agency, and there were people all around us. All kinds of people were looking in at us and smiling. Then the cage was opened and one of my siblings was taken out and handed to a little girl with short brown hair in curls. Another of them was given to a tall man with glasses and a cane. After about 4 hours or so, the only one left was me. The adoption agency was about to close for the night. I snuggled up next to my mother's warm body preparing to go to sleep. She seemed relieved that not all of her babies were taken away. She nuzzled me gently with her nose and put her wings around me. Then suddenly one more person came up to the cage. She was an older woman who was wearing very expensive looking clothes. Jewels and gems of all sorts clung to her slightly overweight body.
There's the one, it's adorable!" color>she said excitedly while pointing at me. I began to get very nervous when the cage was being unlocked again. I tried to crawl under my mother so they couldn't take me away. My efforts where useless, and I was picked up by the adoption agency uni. When I was handed to the old woman, I began to wimper and cry. I reached out for my mother while tears streamed down my cheeks. The old woman held me tight in her bulky but soft arms.
Don't worry little one, color> she whispered. I will take care of you now.color>

I don't remember much about that night, but I do remember what happened the next morning... I slowly opened my eyes and found myself in a gigantic room! The ceilings were atleast 20 feet tall, and beautiful paintings covered the lavender walls. One side of the room was all windows that led outside. The sun was shining in through the transparent curtains. Then I noticed the bed I was in. There were many fluffy blue pillows all around me. As I looked around the room once again, I began to feel disoriented. After all, this was much different then the cage back at the adoption agency. I was used to hearing the soft heartbeat of my mother every time I awoke. Then I remembered that heartbroken look she gave me when I was taken away from her, and I began to cry again. Suddenly, I heard the enourmous door to my room creak open. I saw the kind face of the old woman peeking in.
Ah, awake atlast dear? You must be lonely in here all by yourself." color>she said with a gentle smile. A man holding a tray full of food came in behind her. They both walked up to my bed.
This is our butler, Stephen. If you ever need anything, just call for him, and he will get it for you." color> I looked at the tall, slender man. He smiled at me and set the tray of food down on my bed. Wow! Was this all for me? This was practically a banquet!
You must be starving. Go ahead and eat your breakfast, color> the old woman said, once again with a gentle smile. On the tray were muffins of every flavor, and berries of all sorts. Finally deciding to try one, I popped a muffin in my mouth. It was delicious! Freshly baked blueberry!
I hope you enjoy your breakfast dear. Our cook made it all himself just moments ago. Oh, I almost forgot, I can't keep calling you dear. I think I will call you Dragon949.color> she said while picking me up and placing me in her lap. I could really get used to this!

After I got used to living at the mansion, life was great! I had lots of servants waiting on me all day, and rooms full of toys. The old woman would pack my backpack full of food and take me to the park every Tuesday so I could play with the other pets. For some reason though, none of them would ever want to play with me. Whenever I stepped out of the limo we always rode in, all the other pets would go to the other side of the park. They would often whisper to each other and point while looking back at me. I was often stuck sitting all alone on the swings.
One day when I was swinging by myself, I heard a crash from the alley behind me. When I turned to look, I saw a yellow wocky that had knocked over a trash can. To my suprise, it started looking through the trash for scraps of food. 'Wow, that wocky sure has strange taste. He must really be hungry if he is looking through the garbage,' I thought to myself. Then the wocky noticed I was looking at it and began to back away. When it did, I saw the shapes of 3 tiny objects which I could not identify. I slid slowly off the swing and crept a little closer, doing my best not to frighten them. As I looked at the 3 shadows again, I could make out that they were actually 3 baby wockies! They looked so sad and frightened... I had to do something. After taking off my backpack, I pulled out the food that was supposed to be my lunch. I took it over to the alley, and put it down. The wockies were too afraid to come more then 20 feet of me though, so I backed away. When the mother felt it was safe, she ran up and grabbed the food, then disappeared into the shadows. It was too dark to see where she had gone, but atleast her family would have a nice meal now. Suddenly, someone picked me up from behind...
There you are precious! What are you doing going near a filthy alley like this? Lets go home, and I'll give you a nice warm bubble bath," color>the old woman said while brushing me off with her handkerchief. She carried me towards the car and I looked back. The wocky family peered around the corner and thanked me with warm smiles.

Well, now life was getting a little boring. I had lived in the lap of luxury for a year now. The old woman wouldn't take me to the park anymore for fear that I might get dirty in an alley again, or pick up some kind of disease. She built me a huge swimming pool in the shape of my head, and bought the lot next to us to use for a park of my own. No pets ever came to play in it since it was fenced off, and had a 'private property' sign on it. I could play in it all I wanted... by myself. Something was definetly missing from my life. Even with all this; servants, and my own private park, I was lonely and unhappy.

Sometimes I would climb up the tallest tree in my little park area, and watch other pets stroll by with their owners. They seemed so happy and content. I could see the ice cream truck down the street playing its alluring music. Three chias ran up to it with some neopoints in their hands that their owners had just given them. They hopped up and down excitedly and pointed at the flavours of ice cream they wanted to purchase. Then, with all different flavours of ice cream in hand, they ran back to thier owners, and jumped into their arms. Friends... perhaps that's what was missing from my life.

I had been working on learning to fly in my room one day, and told everyone not to disturb me. It was kind of embarassing that I had never learned, and I didn't want anyone to know. The day went by quickly and all I had to show for it was a tattered pride. No matter how many times I jumped off my bed, I couldn't even glide. Finally giving up, I decided to forget about flying. My stomach was empty since I hadn't eaten all day, so I made my way to my bedroom door. Dinner was probably ready now anyway. When I went downstairs, I could feel that something was wrong. I couldn't find the butler, Stephen, or the old woman anywhere. I searched the entire west wing of the mansion, but could find no one. I did notice that all the clothes were gone from the closets in the servants quarters. Even the old woman's closet was empty. As I came downstairs, I could hear voices coming from the foyer, so I made my way towards it. The front door was open and I saw Stephen carrying suitcases to the car. The old woman came through the door holding a tissue up to her eye. It looked as though she had been crying. Without saying anything, she picked me up and put me in the back seat of the car with her. It wasn't the usual limo this time. It was a much smaller car. As we started to drive away, I peeked out the back window of the car. The mansion got smaller on the horizon, and soon it dissapeared from view. I still had no idea what had transpired to make the old woman so sad.

As soon as the street lights started to illuminate, we came to a town full of neopets and owners alike. The car stopped and I noticed that the old woman still had a sadened -disallowed_word- Goku talking to Gohan) Meaning that you will always have strength when you need it the most.

These are my stats:

  • Level - 55
  • Strength - 100
  • Speed - 22
  • Defence - 104
  • HP - 135/104

This is what I look like when I dress up as my favorite dragonball z character, Trunks! Pretty cool, huh? DO NOT steal this or any of the other pictures on this page. My master spent many hours drawing them all, so just don't. Unless, that is, you would like to feel the blade of my sword...
