As you walk down the noisy streets of Neopia Central, you suddenly spot a small snack bar just down the street. Entering the small blue and white building, you go to the desk. You seem to be greeted by a light blue Chomby with white swirls and bat-like wings.
Dreilyo: "Hello, guest. Would you like to purchase something?"
guest: "Sure!"
Dreilyo: "In that case, just go to that table over there, and I'll be right with you.
You go sit down at the light blue table, and wait for the Chomby to arrive. He seems to be taking long, so you grab a book on that was lying on the table. You start reading it. It seems that it's the biography of the Chomby at the desk.

My Story
So...you want to know my story, huh? Well, the truth is I wasn't always this fortunate and loved by such a wonderful family. It all started back when I was a Gelert. I was born one stormy night to a little street family of six Gelerts, very poor and unfortunate. I had to earn my keep if I wanted to stay in the family. So, each day, I wandered around the market place, making my way through all the crowd, trying to find a decent place to work. After a few days that I had begun my search, I found a snack shop near the Chocolate Factory, owned by a generous old Aisha. She was willing to pay 100 Nps a day, and that was a great amount of money for me.
I worked hard for that 100 Nps, but spending time with my boss Aisha was really worth it. She was a great cook, and showed me so many great recipes.
It was like that, until one day, when I came back from a specialy hard day at work at the snack shop, I found that there was no one home, the little one room building we had managed to buy over the months. I looked around everywhere, and in every possible street they could have been. After hours of searching, but no finding, I finally decided that they had let me down, let me defend myself, without a family. I couldn't tell you how many nights I stayed at the snack shop, crying my eyes out...Day after day I had to endure the pain. Until one day I saw a big poster stuck to the wall of the snack shop.
THE BEST PETS!"
With all the pets in the world,
We have decided that to many of them are homeless!
So, Amy Lymric, a very generous Neopian
Has decided to hold a special adoption day
For all those wonderful but lonely pets out there!
Just go to the Soup Faerie Kitchen on the 21st of Collecting to find your perfect owner!
Signed,
Amy Lymric and The Neopian Adoption Agency
When I saw this announce, I jumped for joy! I would have an owner! Me, a little yellow gelert! I waited impatiently for the big day to arrive.
After a lot of waiting, I checked the calendar one morning, and I saw that it was the big day! I asked my Aisha friend for a little help cleaning up. She had me take a bubble bath, and tied a beautiful red ribbon on my neck. You look dashing, Dreilie," complimented the Aisha, using her nickname for me. "You go get a wonderful owner.
I was there, in the Soup Kitchen, waiting impatiently. While I waited, I saw a poster that said "Chomby day is tomorrow! Remember to join the celebration! Ah, Chombies...if I wasn't a Gelert, I'd be a Chomby for sure..." I thought.
Thousands of Neopians rushed into the Kitchen, each person looking for a special kind of species. Suddenly, I saw a long-hair, dark brunette walk through the door. She had dark hazel eyes, and was very beautiful. She looked at me for a while, but then turned around to look at the Chombies. But, to her surprise, all the Chombied had been taken. So, she turned around and looked at me again. You look like a dashing young fellow. To bad you aren't a Chomby... Wait, wait!" I interrupted. "I'd like to be a Chomby! Please, please!" She laughed, and took me in her arms. Okay, dashing. My name's Amy. What's yours?" I'm Dreilyo. It's a pleasure to meet you." And, with that, see took me out of the adoption center.
AFTER...
Amy has always been good to me ever since. She turned me into a Chomby, and turned me faerie with the ray, and got me my own snack shop. She lets the Aisha come visit me whenever she wants. Or, for short, IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!!!!!
My Family
Well, one of the most important part in my life is my family, not to mention my friends. So, you want to know about them? Well, okay then!
Arsyanna is a stylish and dreamy Poogle. She and her two best friends, Laleenau the Ixi and Almaze, her Gruslen, often go off to a special, secret place they call 'Cloud 9', accompagnied by Sakura, Lalee's Faerie Harris. She loves to read, and is getting very good at drawing. Arsyanna is the most shy of all of us, and is the most secretive with the rest of her siblings, but she's the greatest sister anyone could ask for.
DrawingAngel is the second youngest pet, a Christmas Zafara. She loves drawing, as her name indicates, and she loves reading, just as Dreilyo does. Both of them enjoy talking about the stories they read, and they sometimes write their own stories to share with us. She's very mature for her age, but she's very kind, and loves teaching me how to draw things, and I love that, too! Linillya is the youngest of all of us, and is also the lab pet. When she finishes her lab ray training (which probably won't be soon), she wants to be a Baby Kougra. She's still young, and she depends on me a lot. She loves when I play with her. She loves to collect and make plushies, and she also loves visiting the Lost Desert with her petpet, Rings the Wadjet.
Lychee is my Lady friend. She is very kind and loving. She was painted plushie by her owner, and that made me go under lab ray treatment till I got a nice color, which turned out Faerie. So, we do lots of things together now. We often send each other little gifts.
Once you're done with the book, you are getting tired of waiting, so you peak into the kitchen, and you see Dreilyo cooking a cake.
You go back to your table, and Dreilyo comes and gives you the menu.
Dreilyo: "The special today is Chocolate Wocky Paws with a slice of Deluxe Chia Cake, followed by some Snowberry Tea."
guest: "Yes, please, I'll have the special. It will do very nicely.
Dreilyo: "One moment please. Dreilyo disappears in the kitchen for a brief moment, and returns with the most yummy-looking desserts ever.
Dreilyo, while putting the tray on the table:"One special for guest. Please, let me know what you think of it.
You decide to start by the Chocolate Wocky Paw.
guest: "Ummmm! This tastes great!" You see Dreilyo rushing out of the kitchen.
Dreilyo: "You really think so?!?
guest: "The best chocolate I've tasted in a long time.
Then, you take a bite out of the cake.
guest: "Oh, goodness! It's the most delicious cake I've tasted in years!
Dreilyo: "No joke?
guest: "No joke at all! And the tea is so good!
Dreilyo: "Well, if you like my cooking so much, here." He hands you a brown leather book with a gold ribbon running through it. It's a cooking book! A Dreilyo one!
Dreilyo:"Oh, and by the way, that will be one hundred Neopoints, please. You hand Dreilyo the Neopoints, thank him for the cook book, and go back to your Neohome to try out the recipies in the book, so feed something yummy to your pets.
The Recipes
So, you are ready for some cookin' of your own know, are you? Well then, let's get started! But, remember, if you're a child, always respect all the rules of the kitchen, take precaution, and always have an adult present. Okay? Then, let's get started!
Chocolate Chia Cupcake
For 4 Chocolate Chia Cupcakes, you'll need:
four pears
6 oz of chocolate (I prefer bittersweet, but that's your choice)
If you like, Whipped Cream
Chocolate or Vanilla Ice Cream
And, last but not least, 4 cherries.
Okay, let's get started!
1. First, you want to wash and peal the four pears. LEAVE THE STEMS! Then, if you want, you can carve two eyes and a mouth, to make it look like a chia. 2. Take the chocolate, and then put it into a pan, with about a teaspoon of milk. Stir on very low heat, until it is a little bit liquid, but not to much.
3. Dip your pears into the chocolate, and if you didn't want to carve the eyes and mouth, you can stick candy on while the chocolate is still not dry. And, if the chocolate didn't cover the eyes and the mouth, take some chocolate into the spoon, and fill them up! 4. Put your chocolate pears in the fridge for about 1 hour, no more. 5. When one hour if over, take them out. Serve with chocolate or vanilla ice cream, whipped cream if you like, and last but not least, put a cherry one top.
Voila! (No, it's not Viola and don't neomail me saying so, I know how to speak french! I speak it as well as I do English, which is pretty good, if I do say so myself.)
You now have a chocolaty dessert for any occasion!
White Chocolate Jubjub Cupcake
For four White Chocolate Jubjub Cupcakes, you'll need:
4 apples,
3 oz of white chocolate,
some chocolate syrup and some marzipan,
And, let's not forget the cherries!
1. So, the first thing you want to do is like the last recipe, which means you want to wash and peel the four apples. If you want, you can take of the stem.
2. take the chocolate, and break it into meduim pieces so they can melt easier. Then, put them in a pan with a little teaspoon of milk, and melt on very low heat until it is liquid, but not too liquid, otherwise it will be very hard to work with it. 3. Cover the apples completely with the chocolate, and while the chocolate isn't hard, make two feet out of marzipan and stick 'em on the the "base" of the apple. 4. Put in the fridge for one hours, or until the chocolate is hard. 5. MMMM....Serve with whatever you want, I like it with strawberry ice cream. And, don't forget to add the cherry!
And, you have another chocolaty desert!
Tip: If you want to make it really look like the Neopian one, you can melt a little bit of dark chocolate, and top the Jubjub with it!
Tip #2: If you want some darn good picture, make these two recipes with different fruits and chocolates, put them in a fruit bowl, and *click-clack*! You have a great, fun picture. And then, you can serve some of your creations to friends and family!
Choco-Mint Aisha Cake
This recipe is one of my favorite. It is a magnificent-tasting flourless chocolate cake with either vanilla (with a little bit of green food colorant) or mint frosting.
For 1 Choco-Mint Aisha Cake (12 people), you'll need:
8 ounces of bittersweet chocolate,
1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch pieces,
6 large eggs, separated, at room temperature,
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar,
Green Food Coloring,
Vanilla or Mint Frosting,
And Marzipan.
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, until the chocolate and butter are melted. Gently whisk until smooth. Remove and let cool.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and 1/2 cup of the sugar until they're well blended. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
3. Beat the egg whites at medium speed with an electric mixer until frothy. Increase the speed to medium-high and beat the egg whites until soft peaks start to form. One tablespoon at a time, beat in the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar. Continue beating until the egg whites are stiff but not dry.
4. Using a large rubber spatula, gently add the beaten egg whites into the chocolate mixture in 3 additions. Do not overmix.
5. Pour the batter into the buttered pan. Bake at 350°F until the cake is puffed so when you insert a toothpick, the center comes out with moist crumbs attached, which is about 30 minutes.
6. Then, let cool for 10 mintues. With a small knive, cut around the edges to losten it up a little, then turn the pan upside down, and POOF! the cake pops out. Wrap the cake in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
7. Take the cake out of the fridge, and get your frosting ready. If you want vanilla frosting, put a fee drops of green food colorant in the frosting, mix around a little bit, and spread some like on the picture of the Neopian version of the cake. Tip: If you like mint, just put mint frosting). 8. Last put not least, put some green food colorant in the marzipan, and make a marzipan Aisha, then put it on the top of your cake. Then, put in the fridge for the frosting to harden. 9. Then, voila! Serve to your family and friends!
Colorful Cybunny cookis
Mmm... One of the best cooki recipes out there! Super chocolate cookis topped of with nuts or sprinkles, what could be better? It makes you hungry too, you say? Well, let's get a move on then!
For about 2 to 3 dozen cookis, you'll need:
1 cup of sugar,
2 eggs,
1/3 cups of unsweetened cocoa powder,
1 and 1/2 cups of flower,
1 teaspoon of baking soda,
2 teaspoon of butter,
1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil or butter.
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees (REMEMBER THAT IF YOU'RE A KID, ASK HELP FROM AN ADULT WHEN USING THE MICROWAVE, COOKING EQUIPMENT, AND THE OVEN).
2. Start by beating the sugar and the eggs with a spoon in a meduim-sized bowl until they are well mixed.
3. In another bowl, combine the cocoa, flour, and baking soda.
4. Add this to the sugar and eggs mixture. Also, add two teaspoons of buttter. Stir until it makes a dough.
5. Take some of the dough in your hands, and roll it until it looks like a little ball about the size of a half-egg. Then, on the cooki sheet (that you need to grease with either butter or vegetable oil) smash it just a little bit, so it is about the thickness of a normal cooki. Then, add some ears made of dough. For the eyes and the nose, just stick on some nuts, sprinkles, or whatever you want to use.
6. Once you used all the dough, place the cooki sheet into the oven and bake for about 15 to twenty minutes. Once they are done, let them cool completly.
Abracadabra, and Voila!!!! A magnificent bunch of Cybunny cookis!
More recipes as it comes
