This is the newly revised version of my newbie guide. I say newly revised because I've revisified it.

1. YOUR INVENTORY

This is where your items are. Durr. If you want to avoid the Pant Devil stealing your items or Sloth turning them into sludge, put your items into your Safety Deposit Box. Eventually though, you'll have a lot of items and it's just a hassle to make sure all your items are in your SDB, so unless you've got OCD, just leave them in your inventory.


2. DAILY FREE THINGS

There's a whole bunch of daily free items and NP you can get. I won't bother listing them all here because they're all listed at tineneohelp.com. They're on the right side panel, just scroll down 'til you see it.


3. YOUR NEOPETS AND YOU... haha

You can have up to 4 neopets at a time, unless you're Adam. If you don't know who Adam is, ask someone on the Help board (in the neoboards). Some people get attached to their neopets and keep them as long as their account stays active. Some people buy the lab ray (Round to about 60k per piece, and there's 9 pieces) and they "zap" their neopets and either disown them for other people or just keep zapping them for the heck of it. Your neopets can't die, no matter how sick they are or how long you've neglected to feed them. If your neopet does get sick, just take it to the healing springs every 30 minutes. If she doesn't heal your neopet the first time, don't spazz out, just try again.


4. NEOPOINTS

You can earn NP in many ways. Watch, as I list them. 1. stock market, 2. money tree, 3. shops, 4. GAMES, 5. finding NP on the floor. The stock market isn't as difficult as many people say it is. If you want to know all about it, ask your mom or dad about the stock exchange and they'll give you a headfull of numbers and statistics and all that stuff that I know nothing about. Basically, choose any stock that is at a value of 15. Buy 1,000 of that stock. Wait until it gets to a value of about 45. Then, sell all your 1,000 shares. Congrats, you've just made 30k without playing ANY games. The money tree is just a place where you can pick up whatever people donate, but you have to be incredibly fast or else you'll get nothing. If you open a shop, you can sell all the items you don't want, or you can restock. Restocking is buying items from community shops and selling the items in your shop. The community shops are the shops in the main shops map or the bazaar (the neopets shops). The fastest and most sure fire way to earn neopets is playing games. Just don't be lazy about it, and you can easily make 10k a day.


5. NEOBOARDS

STAY AWAY from the neoboards unless you know and accept the fact that there are report happy people who will report you for being just slightly off-topic. Just be nice to the people and stay away from idiots. If someone calls you a "noob", just ignore them, they're not worth your time, and no, a noob isn't a newbie.


6. SCAMMERS! AHH!

There's 3 kinds of... things. Hackers, scammers, and crackers. I'll explain it nice and easy, exactly how it does on www.neopets.com/~Enshoku. This is a neopets petpage that has tons of information about this.
To clarify, think of it this way. Say there is a locked steel door with something very valuble behind it, like a mountain of diamonds and gold. A hacker would pass it by without any interest in what is inside because it does not belong to them. A cracker would pick the lock or force it open somehow. A scammer would look around for somebody with the key and try to trick them into giving it to them so they could get in and steal what is inside without any hassle."


7. SCREENIES

A. Find something you want to take a screenie of, for example, my desktop, re-sized for your convenience. Note, I didn't make that picture. I am nowhere near being that good, although I wish I was... anyway...


B. Press the print screen button on your keyboard. I'm not telling you how to find it because I don't know what kind of keyboard you have. Anyway, do that, and paste it into ms paint, or whatever paint program you have, and edit it however you'd like.


C. Save it, and go to photobucket.com. Create an account if you don't already have one. It's a FREE image hoster. Upload your picture.


D. Copy the TAG.


E. Paste it wherever you want the picture to be, and voila.


8. FAQ (or a bunch of other random stuff that I don't feel like making separate sections for)

Q. How do I get a krawk?
A. 1. Buy a petpet and attach it to your pet (you can't have more than 3 neopets) and bring it to the fungus caves and have it eat some of the mystical fungus. 2. Adopt one. 3. Morphing or Transmogrification potion. For more details, go to tineneohelp.com or soup-faerie.com

Q. On the neoboards, what does 1337 mean?
A. Leet. Think of it this way. 1=L, 33=EE, and 7=T. It's computer nerd talk.

Q. How do I get people to donate things to me?
A. No one wil donate things to you. Earn NP yourself, just like everyone else.

Q. Where's jelly world and the hidden tower?
A. To get to jelly world, type in "www.neopets.com/ jelly" and take out the space. To get to the hidden tower, go to http://www.neopets.com/faerieland/hiddentower938.phtml.

Q. I have a brain tree quest. When did _______ die?
A. Do 2 Esophagor quests for the answer.
