Hello guest, this is Hikniru speaking. I have the greatest owner in the world. He is considerate, open-minded, and feeds me everyday! Soon my owner *father* is going to paint my brother a Maraquan Draik when my father gets a Maraquan Paint Brush and a Draik Morphing Potion! And I'm getting so much better at fighting in the BD! I'm training real hard to become stronger and make *father* proud of me, even though he probably already is, I want to make him even more proud! Beyond the lofty mountains and across the seven seas... lived a lonesome baby ixi, me... who longed for a family who would care for and loved me for who I was, and then one gloomy day with heavy rain pouring down... My search finally ended. I was wandering off looking for shelter for the night in this dreadful weather that has been continuous for numerous days, when I saw a beam of light in a far off cave secreted by a waterfall. I crept closer... and closer, my heart pounded and skipped a few beats. Voices came alive and danced then my ears heard a young fellow reciting his prayers and the strangest thing was that... We had similar priorities. He also longed for a family and hoped to make a difference in the world. As I leaned forward, my clumsy hooves knocked over a rock and it descended with a minor thud which startled the young man. Shocked, he scurried up on his two feet and smiled with teeth as white as pearls, and there was a sparkle in his eyes. .Shocked as ever, I backed away slowly and scared as ever, my heart pranced a few more beats. He calmly edged forward and gazed into my eyes for the longest time. For minutes, an awkward silence took over. My eyes wandered off into his deep dark chocolate eyes and my mouth open a bit but no words would come out. I was speechless, and petrified at the same time as well as eager about the next move. I decided to allow him to decide what's next.

The next attempt was unpredictable, he closed his eyes for about 5 seconds and then sat down next to the fire he pointed at what he was doodling about.

What do I do know? Should I go take a look? Should I make a run for it now?" My mind started to wonder but I snapped back into reality and took one step at a time until I reached the burning fire and cautiously sat down. He motioned me forward a little more to see what he drew... so I tilt my head over a little more and gaped with amazement. It was.. Me... "Is that really me? No, how is that possible? Wait... It could be some other baby ixi right?" There I go once more, falling into my own world.

Then his gently words propelled me back, "She looks just like you..." I looked up into his calm eyes and beamed. He spoke once again, "This is such a coincidence and the resemblance is so clear." Scanning the picture carefully, I realized he was correct and I came to the belief of this was more than a mere coincidence, but it was also fate. He gently placed his hand on my head and stroked my hair playfully and asked, "So, what's your name little lady? My name is Danny."

Suddenly my whole body filled with happiness and wonder of what this meant. I was hesitating about revealing my name at first, but then... another weird thing, but miraculous thing happened. The drizzle finally ceased after many days of pouring. We both looked at each other with astonishment and grinned at each other. The sun flashed its rays through the waterfall, flowers blossomed, birds crooned and we knew that another miracle had happened. We both got up, peeked through the waterfall, and I took a deep breathe and turned to him. Once again, staring right into his jaded eyes then inclined forward... I whispered melodiously into his ears, "I am Hikniru..."
