I was born on a mountain, above a village of humans. As a young cub I would often look down at them, wanting to learn more of them and there odd ways.
I tried often to go down and be among them, if even for a minute, but my father and mother would hold be back.
One night I slipped out of my den to the human village. I sniffed at every little thing, a basket, an apple, a pile of garbage, everything. As the day drew near I began to see humans coming out of there homes. One saw me and ran, a few seconds later he came back with two other humans.
"Stupid fox, coming to take our sheep are you?" One of them said angerly.
I opened my mouth to speak, to tell them I was nothing more than a little Lupe, but before I could, they began to chase me.
I tried to run to my den, but I was cut off by one of the humans.
I ran into the forest, where they kept at my tail. I could hear there voices fading, but still I ran. I didn't stop till night fall. I was lost, tired, hungry, and scared.
I laid down to rest, I fell into a deep slumber. The next morning I was awoken by the panting of a Lupe. I coward form him, until I noticed his large wings and his halo, which was strongly gray.
I walked up to him, he didn't even know I was there yet.
"Excuse me," I said quietly.
He jumped up and snarled, I jumped back as well. As he saw me he stopped growling.
I smiled. "You're an angel right?" I asked. "You're my guardian angel aren't you?"
He looked at me an took a step back. "You weird little pup," He said, giving me a strange look, "I'm no ones guardian angle, I'm not even an angel any more, I'm a demon."
I shook my head no. "No your not, you're my guardian angel," I insisted.
He grinded his teeth. "I am not!"
"You are too!"
"I am not!"
"You are too!!" I snarled and jumped at him.
"Okay, okay, I'm your guardian angel."
I jumped up happily. "I knew it, I knew it!" I cried.
"Okay…" He trialed off.
"My names Okamiro, but you can call me Okami."
"Well, Okami," He said, "I'm Feocho. Well I really need to get going now."
"But you have to take me with you," I said. I grabbed his tail as he tried to leave. "I'm lost, and you're my guardian angel."
Feocho turned around and smiled at me. "Fine, I'll take you with me," He said kindly.
I barked happily and ran up beside him.
As I now know, he wasn't set down to me to be my guardian angel, but to me he is still my guardian. He is immortal and can never age, so he and I am about the same age now, we look it at leased.
