Fun Plushie Tycoon Game Guide

Many people find Plushie Tycoon (PT) to be a very difficult game to play. Fear no more, I have made a handy and fun PT guide.

1.) To start off, click on "create store."

2.) Refresh the main page. You will now see a new link that says you can set your timezone. Set the timezone to the most convenient time for you.

3.) Pay the rent on your factory, warehouse and store.

4.) Buy 18 each of red cloth, velvet bags and necotton.

5.) In your factory make 18 jobs of red grundos.

6.) Hire 5,000 dropouts. Don't bother hiring managers, they never work.

7.) Since you will now have some free time, spend it advertising your PT store by neomailing all your friends and posting about it in the neoboards. That way your plushies will sell faster when they are ready.

8.) Go the the neoboards "games" section. There should be a Plushie Tycoon chat there. Brag about all the things you have done.

9.) If the posters give you advice, check their previous PT scores. Make fun of the advice of everyone who has scored over 5,000 points.

10.) On the next update, check your game's progress. If not all the plushies were made, double the number of workers. Never leave unfinished batches in the factory because they will disappear after 3 updates.

11.) Finished batches will now be in the warehouse. No need to expand the warehouse just type in this code: "pleaseloadmorequickly". When they are done loading, ship them to your store.

12.) Now that the plushies are in your store, check if you have gotten replies when you advertised your store through neomail and the neoboards. If no one paid you any attention, repeat step 7.

13.) If you go bankrupt, blame it on a glitch and post about it repeatedly on the neoboards, saying "PT is a bad game full of glitches."

There are also some special neopets codes that you can type in while you are on the main page:

iamtooimpatient" will speed up your game, with updates every 2 minutes instead of every hour. To return to normal mode type "slowlynow". Both codes can only be used before you pay any rents.

iloveplushietycoon" will give you 50,000 nps extra in your current receipts if you currently have a negative balance.

sellsuperfast" makes plushies sell off in one update, with a fine of 100 nps per plushie.

cheapisgood" lowers materials and plushie prices.

ohnoitsdrsloth" turns a random amount of your plushies in the warehouse into green Dr. Sloth plushies.

iamanevilptgod" activates PT in god mode but only for the current top player in the hiscores.

Feedback from readers: It seems a lot of people do not know where to type in these codes and keep neomailing me about it. The directions above already say "type in while you are on the main page". I can't make it any clearer than that so don't neomail me anymore, I won't answer. Just go to "main page" link and type in the codes in your keyboard. There is no special place to input any codes- that is because they are SECRET codes.

Make sure you make those Red Grundos with rare gems!!!!

Make sure to fire workers right before the update so you don't have to pay them. But there is a glitch that sometimes they don't get any work done, so keep trying.

Do not build the invisible shoyru, the customers can't find them in the store to buy them. Plus, you can't see them to tell how close they are to selling out.

Always let your store sell completely out before building again so you don't hurt sales rates.

If you buy cloth EXACTLY at 11:59 pm on your game time(Not NEOPIAN! Be careful!), you get to make combinated plushies. Color combinated plushies sell for a higher price 500!) and faster, but they're really complex to make. To get purple, buy equal amounts of red and blue cloth, for orange, equal amounts of red and yellow, for rainbow, red, blue and yellow.

To get the hidden menu by default, defeat Simon The Scorchio on the battledome... To get him as a battledome challenger, go to the Neopedia Article on Plushie Tycoon and refresh like crazy.

You must open the factory and store at 9AM sharp with special keys or the workers can't go in to work. To get these keys you must type "plushie tycoon" in the search box of your SDB. Oh and type "elephante" right at update time to get an extra update at 6:01PM. hehe.

Red, rare gem Grundo
Purple Zafara
Rainbow Draik
Cloud or Shadow Moehog

Worst plushies to make: Invisable Shoyru and any plushie using accessories except as noted above (too expensive for consumers)

Also, don't forget to keep checking the market every few minutes, sometimes you can buy really RARE materials such as Crystal boxes for packing, Hypollergenic NeoCotton for stuffing and Cloud, Starry, Fire. Shadow and Disco cloth.

To keep your workers happy and efficient, don't forget to always keep on your inventory ONE cup of House Blend Coffee for every 10 workers you hire...

If you win the gold trophy 6 months in a row you get to keep all the np's you make in the next 6 games.
