Hits since 11/6/08 (P.S, Yuri's open for Roleplay ;3) Still coding, stand back xD; Updates:
...No matter how many times I lose... ...Or collapse, or spit blood... ...As long as I have my life... ...And as long as I don't give up... ...I can always stand up and fight again! Work space. A place long gone Intro You grab your head, a splitting pain putting everything else aside. Opening your eyes groggily, you're not sure where you are. The last thing you remember is falling asleep. Yet looking around, the area is noticeably more... Morbid. The feeling around you, it gives the feel that you're in some sort of grave yard. And as your eyes trail across various placed tombstones, you get the hunch that the feeling is quite correct. -Paragraph Missing- -Paragraph Missing- You're all a bunch of idiots. A voice scoffs, followed by a chuckle, a hint of annoyance in it. You look away from the tombstone, eyes eyes landing on a large gate away from the other stones. 4 odd masks seems to be floating in the air, in front of a rather fit looking zafara. He has his back turned to you, and you can't help but notice a few of the markings you've seen over his body. One is on his back, while each leg has one places on it. One more glows a soft blue half way down his tail. The hair on the back of your neck stands up on ends, yet he seems completely unphased by everything here. Ho ho ho! One of the masks chuckles. Is this really coming from the one who not too long ago was digging his own grave? The zafara waves the comment off, placing one of his hands on his hips as he does. Whatever. He states casually. You all just go hide your Womens Weekly* magazines so I've got less reasons to beat you up next time you even fall onto the subject. (*Womens Weekly is a magazine, for chicks really. I don't know if other people get it but... It's definitely an insult to the masks xD;) With that, he turns around, walking down the broken and worn stairs. He walks past the raised ground you're sitting on, before pausing. He looks over his shoulder. Looking completely past you, he only seems to register that the tombstone next to you is glowing eerily. He makes his way over to the dark one, moving past you. You scoot out of the way, and it's only when your hand snaps a twig that he realises you're there. Becoming alert, he tosses his gaze over to you, surprised. What the hell? he asked, How did YOU get here?! You look at his with a slight pathetic look. It's nice to meet you, too. -Paragraph Missing- -Paragraph Missing- -Paragraph Missing- of Nature's Freak Stats General Information Alias : HarmonixerHyuga Name : Yuri Volte Hyuga Nicknames Given : Hooligan, Freak, Punk, Sonny Boy, Brute, Kid, Demon (Lies!), Monster (Gah...) The home was small, possibly only two rooms all together, yet it didn't seem to bother anyone. His mother stood next to him. Her pelt was brown and a honey-comb colour, a beautiful combination. Hm, it does seem to be quite strong. She said. Very unusual for this season... The young zafara smiled, watching lightning flash outside. Eventually he turned to his mother, standing properly to stop the strain on his feet. His mother looks down at him, noticing the -disallowed_word-Lots to re-write here. Darn you Kurando Dx!) +Normally, a harmonixer can only have one fusion spirit. Yuri and Kurando are two acceptions due to the way their lives have played out. +For some odd Reason, a Zafara with Harmonixer blood has yet to be recorded with back spikes. One theory is because they would take the transformation process far longer, and was lost through the blood line. Another thought is that, in evolution as well, they were actually lost to gain speed. Though most people think that they would increase it, it would appear that such things in a Harmonixer's case merely gets in the way. ---- ---- ---- ---- +A Harmonixer's eyes are always a shade of red that is unlike any other's, in it's own right. +A harmonixer can have any elemt for their natural attribute. Dark and Light are most common, though. +Harmonixers have much more freedom in mobility. Their bodies can stand an incredible amount of stress, while the movements lack limitations. +A majority of the time, Harmonixers can appear snappy and moody throughout adolescence and early adulthood. This often only refers to those that have not had someone to guide them through their abilities. Although as time goes by, if the Harmonixer can come to grips with their powers they have the chance of calming down, taking on a more down to earth nature. However, this can work in the complete opposite way. If the Harmonixer becomes more fearful than anything of themselves, they usually take on the aspects of being irrational, paranoid, snappy and violent, if not psychotic, sometimes withdrawing into past memories. Sides of his mind Likes & Dislikes
Is what they are Family My parents I only knew them until I was 10. I forgot a lot about my dad, but over the years it's slowly come back... Colonel Ben Hyuga.
My Dad. He was Japanese, and reached the rank of Colonel in the military. He traveled a lot, city to city and battle field to battle field. He saved a lot of people from the hands of thugs and violent armies. In Shanghai, he opened a shop with one man he had saved earlier so there'd be a good base to work on plans. Haha, he got caught out on that one. He did it cause he was worried about they guy's daughter. I actually met the man, and he reckoned I look basically the same as my dad. I can tell ya, Dad was a great man and they say he never lost. But one day... Anyway, when I was little, my dad was and is my hero. He would work almost all day in the fields until it was supper time, making sure that when harvest time came there'd be enough for everyone to get through winter. I never got to see my dad as much as I wanted to. Yet every summer he'd leave the village, having to head back off to the military. He came back just before winter rolled in, and helped with the harvests. Each time he left, I promised I'd look after mum for him. I inherited my abilities off him, though I don't know when I'll ever get up to the league he was in. A whole range all'a it's own. I'm proud to be what I am, especially if a man like him was the same. Dad... Were you watching me from the grave...? Were you the one that saved me from being completely consumed by it...? ... ... I'm prepared to meet the same end as him... To be killed, for the greater good of this blasted world, go out fer somethin' honourable, even if it is bloody. I hope someone dear to me will have enough heart to do it, instead of some gutless 'hero'. Then I really will go out just like him... That's only an if, I don't plan on dyin' for a good long time, buddy. Anne Hyuga -image- My Mum. She was Russian, and I think she and my dad met during one of his missions somewhere. A fantastic mother, for sure, but she was always sad when dad left. Whenever I found her upset or crying, I tried so hard to cheer her up. Apparently in my home town, alotta the blokes fancied her, but I bet there woulda been some broken bones if Dad had found out. ...She died when the village was attacked, right in front of my eyes... I couldn't do anything, I failed to protect my mother, I broke the promise to my dad... After snapping back to reality, having blacked out, I can still remember ignoring all of the corpses of the monsters I had slain and going to her side, even though I knew well she was dead... I begged for forgiveness, every moment of that night... Kurando Inugami Kurando's my younger cousin. I only found out about him a little while ago. He didn't know he had the harmonixer genes for a good long while, he actually seemed to take it all pretty well. Took barely any notice, really. Everyone reckons he's the complete opposite of me. Serious, formal, respectful... I can be serious some times too, you know. ... Sometimes. The only thing that ticks me off is the fact that some of his fusions can give me a good beat down. That's not fair, I'm older than him, darn it! But at least he's a good kid. He only has two fusions. I have... What, 41 now? I kinda envy him for that. Bet he doesn't have anything yelling at him too often. We don't have any of the same demon, either. You learn something new every day. Aunt Saki ------ closest thing then Roommates? Margarete This woman, Oi. What am I meant to say about her? When I think about it I've never know all that much about here. She's way too secretive, seriously. Buuuut I guess you could expect that, ya know? She's a spy. Or something, I dunno. A mild mannered reporter by day, bizarre secret agent by night! *Laughs*. Didn't get it...? Arg, it's wasted on you. The Miss has a good heart. She goes as far as setting up a second bomb to lure people away from the death causing one. What, I didn't bring that up already? She's a bombs expert. I don't think I wanna know anymore on that part than that. Her and Yoshiko seem to be on sour terms. Halley Halley is a street kid, and a leader of these guys called 'The London Rats'. I can't say I met him a good way. When I was in London we had to track down some kids that ended up taking our money (When I say we, I mean me, Margarete and Alice) and we found out he was the ring leader of the group. We got our goods back, and some how managed to have Halley helping us every so often. Believe it or not, this kid is incredibly useful. He knows the ways of the street like the back of his hand, and his ESP can kick anyone along the ground. Problem is, when he gets emotional, his powers are nuts. He can't control it just yet. He can take out an area about the size of a town if he gets too worked up. His situation seems a little like mine when I was young. Yoshiko This girl's more confusing than Margarete. I thought she was dead. Eeeuh, okay, she is dead. Nothing against that, I just find it a little odd. She was originally executed... Because of us. She was in the military, and didn't report any news concerning us back to the capital. The military rewarded her hard work with several shots to the chest. I don't know why she's back. Kato refuses to translate the reason. Oh yeah, at the moment, she's mute. Kato seems to be the only one that can understand her at all. Kato? He was one of the other military people who worked with Yoshiko, only he was one of the few that were loyal to her. Actually, only two people were every on that standard that they put their lives on the line for the gal. Even though she's transparent, she can still kick my butt. I can't land a punch back, i-it makes no sense!! But Yoshiko... She's never been as terrible as people make her out to be. She was just courageous, and worked herself way too hard for her country. If she hadn't have been executed, I bet she would have died from exhaustion. She never let on about anything she was going through. I still dunno how she felt about it all, no-one seems to. Her and Margarete are Still at each other's throats. are Few and in between Friends Genesis Only Guy I can really bring up at the moment is good ol' Genesis. I met they guy when I got alittle... Lost. Out in some freaking desert. Was not fun. Guy lived in the place, 'ventually explained a whole load of junk to me. We can relate, ya know? We're both alleged 'monsters'. Even though there's basically lord knows how many differences between us, we ain't that different. There's something sinister about that guy, but he's an alright bloke in my own books. she was called Alice
My traveling partner, Alice. She's one helluva Zafara, pure as snow. Both pelt AND soul. You would not believe how STUBBORN this chick is. Bet from first glance she'd look like one shy gal. Okay, first meeting, that seemed like and understatement. But now, Oi...! Yet when the whole world turned it's back on me, she stayed with me. Even when I gave up, and disappeared, she spent the next 6 months tryin' to find where the hell I was. I took a liking to the girl some time after I met her. Poor thing had alotta people coming after her, for some reason. Yet she didn't seem to be one of them damsels in distress. Something about her. She's kind, yet she's got attitude when it counts. She always thought about those that suffered first. Not to mention, she knew (and still does) how to look after herself. I've gotten so many bibles to the head I'm surprised I don't have a cross imprinted onto my forehead. I'll give one quick example of whadda mean. There was a time when I first found out that I... Get seasick. I stayed in the rooms a lot, but she coaxed me to go outside when I was sprawled out on the ground (God, I still feel sick thinking about that boat...). I went out, but I only felt worse... Everyone else on board just made some cracks about me, telling me not to throw up on them. They didn't even lend me a freakin' hand getting to the side of the ship so I could chuck up. I realised how kind Alice was, and how much of a jerk the rest of the world is. But ya know, she ain't as normal as what you'd think she is by her looks. Cause everyone knows I keep the oddest company, am I right? Alice here has something that's referred to as 'Demon Eyes'. It ain't got anything to do darkness or evil. Her senses are just a whole lot better than the world's. She can feel things other people can't, those of the spirits, ya know? She can tell what sorta emotions they harbour and if they're harmful or not. Put's 'em to rest when she can. Not all that surprising, she was an Exorcist for awhile after all, put it to good use. Dunno what I'd be doing if I was without this gal again. She's definitely special to me. The first person that accepts you for who you are other than ya parents, they always gotta have some special place in that breathin' organ they call a heart, right? I'mma sick of even thinking about times hiding what I was. I get to be perfectly myself 'round her and hid nothin', and she still stands with me through it all. I need that person there to help me out, I'd just break down if I lost her again. It's my job to protect her, ya hear? I'd never forgive myself if she got seriously hurt. Besides, if she got kidnapped again she might sob and cried until I came to rescue her Okay, maybe not, but ya get what I mean? You touch her and I'll snap every bone in your body so many times they they'll be a pile of dust.
In the end though, the day she dies, I die too. I can't go through all that again. ...What the hell are you giving me that look for? S...Stop it, Alright...? G...Goddammit... I ju... Lay the hell off, man... This is a companion? Petpet He slumps down next to one of the tombstones, which only seems to have it's mark glow a pale green. he seems somewhat exhausted, as if all of this had taken alot out of him. With the knee of one leg bent and the other turned slightly to cross it, he seems to relax, leaning back. Just as you go to sit down beside him, a flurry of black feathers darts past, swooping at his feet before landing. He appears slightly annoyed by it, as the flurry settles into the form of a black Airax. A black on, this is quite odd. The even stranger thing you notice about it is it's red eyes, which seem to leave a soft trail in the area as it bobs it's head up and down, looking at Yuri. Yuri just glares down at it, seeming to know it. And this would be Banpaia. He mutters. Banpaia? You repeat after him. ... That sounds like 'Vampire'. That'd be because it's japanese for vam--- he begins, but his body seems to jerk before he kicks the bird at his feet. Cut it out ya buzzard!! You looked rather shocked, wondering what could possess him to do such a thing, but you soon realise why. Seeing 'Banpaia', you notice her beak is covered in Yuri's thick red blood. Looking at Yuri's foot, you see the fur on his toes are torn and the skin is pierced, leaving thin streams of blood to trail from the wounds. She's basically a vampire. He says, nudging Banpaia with his bloody foot. Banpaia just seems to roll onto her back, cawing affectionately. All black birds seem ta love my blood, and she ain't no different. He pauses for a moment, before Banpaia gets to her feet, flapping her wings to fly up and perch on Yuri's shoulder before pecking at his ear. I won't ever understand women. Inside his head The Voice Yuri pauses for a moment, placing his hand on knuckle to his forehead and tapping slightly. He looks like a cross between stressed and in thought. A few more moments pass and he returns to his laid-back posture, sighing in relief. Just as you open your mouth to say something, however, a loud screech-type sound fills the air. Although high pitched, it doesn't seem to bother you. Looking at Yuri, however, it certainly seems to bother him... Especially considering he's on his knees, gripping the sides of his head and clenching his teeth. The noise soon goes away almost as soon as it came, and Yuri just looks on with a very irritated look on his face. Dammit to hell... He mutters, Why'd she have to go and do that?! U...Uh... You begin, kneeling down beside him, You okay? Quite frankly? he asked, No, no I'm not! The fusion monsters just panicked! Accck, my head... ... Pardon? You ask, confused. He looks up at you, almost causing you to cringe. Dammit, guess I gotta go ahead and explain that to you too then, eh... -Paragraph Missing- The Voice'd always tell me where to go. I dunno how many times, but it saved me from getting killed pretty darn often. Normally it would just instruct me about certain people, tell me who I should try and make sure didn't get harmed. That was pretty much it, and I moved on after my job was done. The only exception was when it told me to board a certain train and make sure a young woman didn't get hurt. That's how I meet Alice. Any who's. And you know who the voice is? Eh, get this. It's none of than Halley's Ma! Now I dunno what the hell to do. I found it out the hard way, ya see. When I first saw Halley lose it... The voice in my head decided to speak, and I can't remember being in that much pain in a loooong time. If I stay away from Halley to make sure it don't happen again, she'll probably keep screeching until I buckle. And trust me, if you felt what I did when I hear her voice, you wouldn't last a second. If I go near the kid and he loses it, I'll probably end up having my head freakin' split. Urrg! I actually got a chance to ask her what the heck the whole painful experience was, and why no-one else felt it. I originally thought it was 'cause I was being punished for something. Apparently that wasn't the case. It was really because all of the monsters I've fused with are terrified of her voice, and act basically like bats being hit by light. -Paragraph Missing- vengeance to the brim Malice Pendant After that, you can't help but continue to watch him carefully. You don't know when he could fall to his knees again, or go snappy. Your eyes stray to just below his neck, tracing the thin silver metal falling around to hold a pendant. The pendant itself looks old, slightly worn. Encased in the stone, or whatever it is, is a glowing gem. Light gleams off it, although you look on in awe as you see that itself is actually causing the light and darker shades to shift, as if something was inside of it. Parts glow brightly, while the edges dim with each flicker. Yuri raises an eyebrow, seeming to notice your obvious stare. What? He asks, Do I have something on me? You quickly shake your head, raising your arm to point at the object of attention. No no, it's just... Just that... you say. He looks down to where you point, placing his hand around the pendant and lifting it closer to his eyes. This? he asks. This is a malice pendant. Guess people like you would neva have seen one of 'em. A Mali what...? you ask. He gives a half irritated and half amused sigh. Ya know when people kill monsters? He begins. You nod. Well they're not all that happy about it as you'd imagine. Monsters have spirits, just like us. If they're killed, there's a good chance they're gonna want revenge. They may be dead, but their wrath isn't. If it collects enough and the killer dies, they've got a lot to face in the after world. You nod weakly again, beginning to get a tad confused. What can someone do then? You ask. Not killing monsters is an option. He answers. Now, unlike those idiots, I keep the Malice. Why... Would you do that? You ask Because while fools are going to have to face the monster's wrath once they die in sin, I can come here... Since this pendant collects the malice into one area, I can come here to cleanse it and send the dirty things to rest, so they won't be bothering me. I may have to deal with those jerk masks, but in the long run it's a good idea. You turn your head to look at the gate he had been standing at earlier, seeing the 4 floating masks that he must be referring to. If you can do that, why don't you wait until you're really old? You ask. Well for one, use your head, idiot. If I waited till I was older, I probably wouldn't be as strong. Second, my pendant has a limit. If it reaches that, then I'm gonna have the gate keepers after me. Or... Fox face... You look at him quizzically. But all of that is a story for another time. He scoffs, Stop being nosy! You cringe slightly at his tone. You feel you haven't done anything wrong, but now is honestly not a good time to step on his toes... Just take my word for it, and get other people to fight for you. He finishes. jerks of the graveyard The Masks Through out the previous conversations, your eyes continuously glance to the side at the large door, guarded by the masks. Each one seems to peak your interest, and Yuri notices this. He raises his arm and looked over, pointing threateningly at the. So, the freaks over there got your attention, eh? I'll neva understand what's so bleeding interesting about them. He begins, eyes narrowing to glare, Stupid sonuva... -Paragraph Missing- I can explain them all in a few easy sentences. he stated, Their goal was to make my dreams and subconscious insane. I'm not exaggeratin' or complaining. They were there to taunt me, and push me to my limit. Of course, they're too afraid of me to even try that now. You raise an eyebrow, But how...? You begin. He chuckles loudly, seeming to make the masks shake, Let's just say even I have my limits ... Isn't there more to them? You ask. I guess.
-Paragraph Missing- and so long farewell Heh, I think you should be going, okay? I need to go, and you'll probably just get eaten if you stay here on your own. He states. By now, you have no urge to argue with him. You offer a small wave, before rushing to the open gate past the tombstones. In a flash, you feel the pressure and weight leave your body, and instead you can feel the soft mattress you were sleeping on that night. It's as of you can barely remember anything... Maybe only a dream? Nevertheless, it's time to go. You're things are packed, and as you leave the room you come to a halt. Down the stairs, your eyes meet something familiar. A zafara is standing at the open door, with his arms crossed. Black and red with scruffy brown hair, you could swear you've seen him before. A lovely white zafara, with only one or two markings on her body and a ribbon behind her head walks towards the door before stopping. Looking over her shoulder, she spots you and offers a soft smile, before leaving. The male followed her gaze to meet yours. A few seconds of staring, before he smirks slightly. He turns, following the other out and closing the door behind him. ...Are you sure you haven't met one of them before...? oh these can't be good Adoptables Rules: READ THEM.
