Her mother was forced into marriage, so it wasn't suprising that she had no feelings for her daughter. Now, her mother really had no say on this, considering that Anise's father was a mob leader, and she could ahve been killed with a click of his fingers. For Anise's mother, it was either get marrige or get a bullet to her head. While Anise's father dotted on her, her mother was usually in unknown locations. Anise herself spent quite alot of time with her father, spending her years following her to 'Work' at the casino and some classified areas (thoose places being where the mob) It was an understatement to say that Anise was loved at the casino. She obtained the nickname 'Lady Luck' from the regulars, who seemed to notice winning streaks that followed where ever she happened to go. A few people even won the Jackpots with her sitting beside them. Anise first went into the casino at the age of 3, and has rarely spent any hours outside it unless with her father. Now, Anise was a bright young girl, and soon came to understood the many reasons people were so polite to her. She used this to her advantage, keeping her child like charm with whatever she did. Being the Daughter of the mobster, she didn't spend a single day in school. Some people might call this lucky, others unfortunate. Though she did not recieve a 'proper' education, the gamblers at the casino were more than happy to teach the young girl the tricks of the trade, while others taught her what she needed to get by in the world (spelling, maths, etc.). A street kid through and through in the end. Now that we have all of that worked out, let's get to the story... |
