As you would know by now, Klarth strived for knew knowledge. And it was this that lead him to a humid cave, far out from cilivilization. The cave itself, was hidden in the back of an old, yellow rocked tomb deep in a jungle in said unknown place.
The walls were dull and gray, but every so often, as his paws scratched slong the ground he could have sworn he saw a flash of rainbow.
None the less he continued his walk, taking long pauses to study every small indent in the cave.
So far it was quiet, only the slight dripping of water coming from the area.
Grrr....
Whoops. Spoke far too soon.
Klarth quickly turned around, peering into the darkness that was far back behind him in the cave. Squinting, he spotted colour... Red. Glaring eyes. Never a good sign.
He sat on his hind legs, balancing and raising his paw.
Whatever was back there obvioudly thought this was a good time to attack, and darked forward. An odd, canine creature cloaked in moving colours bared it's fangs, snarling loudly.
Celsius!
WHAM
Whatever it was, it earned a punch right in the gut, as naurally, The Disciple of Everlasting Ice answered the call of her name.
Bout time you summoned me back, Klarth. Celsius remarked, giving a glance over her shoulder at the rather smug summoner.
Klarth gave a slight wave of a paw, making a 'Get to it' movement.
Rolling her eyes, Celsius cracked her knuckles, and darted forward to give whatever these things were a beat down.
Klarth got back onto all fours, ready to take on any that managed to slip past Celsius. As he raised his head back to see what was going on, his ears picked up a deep growl. From behind him.
Celsius froze mid battle, feeling her body fading, as if the summon had been called off. Quickly turning before she disappeared, she saw Klarth with a look of shock on his face, as his hat flew to the side and blood oozed from a deep gash on his back.
Klarth hit the ground, hard, sending an echo of the sound through out the cave.
Knowing he was open for attack, he tried to get back to his feet. But too much time had past, his companion wasn't there to help him now, and there were far more creatures than he would be able to handle on his own.
This was proven as a flurry of them pounced on his body, pain tearing through and his fur and skin ripped, teeth digging into his and claws taking swipes.
Darkness

The creatures stalked off, covered in blood, jsut as the warm floor was becoming.
Severly injured, Klarth layed on his side, motionless on the ground other than a few pained breaths. The left side of his face was torn and beaten, The fur around his neck was torn away, and his throat itself was ripped open. both of his front legs were missing all of their skin and fur, tendants and viens town and the bones seeming crushed. His back was in terrible condition, aswell. It was a grizzly sight as so much was missing his spine was visible, and nearly snapped in multiple places. His back legs were nearly completely missing the flesh and skin, bloody bones clear as his toes tritched with ever breath. His tail was torn to shreads, only held together by bis of fur.
It was obvious he had no time left.








What Is Summoning?

Summoning is the art of calling a spirit or element of the world to your aid.
It's gone on for many, many years but people have mainly been prosicuted for it, due to people's beliefs and unfair envy. Some people say calling the spirits is cruel, and that they should be left in peace (though this is often true, if they see a summoner as a friend they tend to complain if they AREN'T called)
Others believe the spirits are evil, selfish creatures that don't care for any mortal being. Klarth himself is living proof that that is false.
Summoners are often kept secret, due to the nature of their abilities. They holds a very strong advantage in battle, as summon spirits can not die.
There is a summon spirit for all of the things that make up their world. Though their abilities are mainly used in combat, they can be a help to a range of things. For example, Gnome naturally has an unmatchable knack for gardening, so if a place is in crisis with it's farming, he is of good help.

Everyone has the ability to summon, but power will only be granted to them if they have the will to seek and sacrific for the greater good (Or bad, in some cases).
Summon spirits to not dispute from person to person, but follow a code.
To begin with, a summoner must prove their strength in a one-on-one match with a spirit. They can call for help from their previously obtained spirits for a limited ammount of time.
Second. A pact or contract must be formed with the spirit.
A pact is not something that can be happened on a whim. A Pact has to be a thought out request, in which the summoner asks the spirit to assist them with. Be it saving people, destroying an area, or saving the known world. It is down to the spirit's choice weither they want to follow this or not. If they do not believe that it is what the summoner truly seeks. They also have preferences, according to whom they are. If someone asked Shadow to aid him in aniliating the human race, there is afair chance he would agree. On the other hand, if the same thing was asked of Luna, she would turn it down, even after being defeated.

Eye of the Summoner

He give a slight smirk, moving onto your next question.
My eyes? He asks. My eyes are almost always dark teal.
You look at him like he's an idiot. Well. Duh. They've been the same all time I was here.
His smirk widens, and he lifts his head jsut enough so his hat doesn't cover his eyes. His ring glowed a powerful red and he sits on his back legs, UNDINE!
SWISH!!!
Before you can say anything, you're face to face with a swordswoman... Blue, and watery, but that blade near your throat doesn't invite you to comment. She moves back to besides Klarth, seeming calm but slightly ticked at being called upon.
While shaking, you notice something. Klarth's eyes are a baby blue colour.
Get the picture? He asks, confident.
You nod slowly.
He clears his throat. My eyes change according to the Spirits I summon. This is Undine, the spirit of water, so my eyes are naturally Blue.
He gives you a quick walk through about his eyes and their connection to the spirits.

The Search For Efreet.
It a normal day outside, and your pet's decided to go for a wonder. Not much time passes until they're struck down with terrible heat. Looking around, they notice that they've wondered into a cave. The door behind them is has become sealed, so they wonder off to find another exit before collapsing from dehydration. Klarth, in the area on a search for the summon spirit 'Efreet', happens to hear the echo of the fall through the cave and comes to the rescue with some water and a strange cloak that instantly cools your pet. After some discussion, he convinces them to accompany him through the cave to help make a pact with Efreet. If they can find him.

The Search For The Sylphs.
It's a windy, windy day in FairyLand. But the clouds are becoming old and dull, well explored, so your pet decides to go off on their own to one of the caves people have been warned not to go into. Going down the wrong path,

The Search For Maxwell.
Some how your pet has wound up on floating Islands, not sure how they got there. After a frantic search through the area that it's able to move on, they find Klarth at the edge, attempting to hook soemthing onto another island and get across. Withyour pet's helkp, they both manage to get across, and over a few more island until night sets in. On the island they arrive at there is a small hut, able to keep them sheltered for the night. There, they have the chance to discuss their past, family, intentions and whatever seems fit.
