DO NOT NEOMAIL ME.

I will not answer your Neomail. Do not send it. I cannot get into this account. I cannot retrieve the login information. I'm quitting this pathetic waste of life they call a game. Somehow I still care enough to leave this thing up. It is in the public domain. Feel free to reproduce, fix, mangle, or otherwise use this guide or pieces thereof. If you want to put it on your page, you can. Uncomment the navigation CSS, fix the bits where I've mangled 'display' and 'margin' and such CSS attributes to get past this filter, and generally modify it to your satisfaction.

Cheers,

Jack

    FAQ

I actually only have two subjects that crop up a lot, so this is a rather short FAQ. If you have a question you think should be added to it, Neomail me.

    Link to this Guide

I now have two great buttons created by Yael!

    Animated Static

Here's an old linkback image so you can see the aesthetic atrocities I used to force upon you poor people:

This image may be resized by editing the width= and height= values. It's in a lossless format so there should be no problems if you keep the dimensions proportional.

    Extras

You can add these to your ad-block stylesheet to further customize the website.

This will hide the sidebar containing the Neofriend list and your active pet:

    Screenshot Code

(drag to address bar to enlarge)

This will widen threads ('topics') on the Neoboards to occupy the space that the ad to the right used to fill:

    Screenshot Code

(drag to address bar to enlarge)

These are the most common, relevant, or likely to be used customizations, but remember that you can tweak any element to your preferences. Be aware, however, that user styles apply to all web sites, not just Neopets, so you may have undesirable effects such as an element named .sidebar on another site failing to appear.

Why You Should Use This Guide

A picture's worth a thousand words, eh? Well, here's a few thousand words to look over. Drag the images to your address bar to enlarge them.
