Time to Dress Up!

Welcome to Nurturing Neopians' Closet. It would have been called Nurturing Neopians' Spare Paint Brush Clothes that are Clogging up the Closet and We'd Like to Give Them Away Page, but a less descriptive title probably is for the better.

As the "descriptive" title said, we have lots of paint brush clothes sitting in our closets, because we lab pets and like to give them away. In the process, some pets do not find homes when they are painted, so we continue to zap them, and sometimes they have paint brush clothes. Now our closets are all full of spare paint brush clothes, and we would like to give them away, to you!

How To Do It:

So, just how do we give you our paint brush clothes, when we cannot even take them out of our closet??

Quick answer: You send us the pet of the same color and species of the clothes you want, we'll put the clothes on that pet, then we will transfer the pet back to you.

Long answer: Normally, if a pet, say an Island Hissi, left the account he was on via the pound, all his Island Hissi clothing would stay behind. But if he were transferred, the clothes would go with him. Now let's say that Island Hissi got pounded or repainted, but later the person wanted to move the Island Hissi clothes to another account. They would have to get another Island Hissi, without his clothes this time, put the clothes on, then transfer him to the account they want the clothes on.

NOTE #1: Paint brush clothes can only be transferred with the pet of the same color and species! This means that the person in the example cannot use a Red Hissi to transfer the Island Hissi clothes - they MUST use an Island Hissi!
NOTE #2: If you transfer a pet, and his paint brush clothes are on him, in the closet, or even on another pet, the clothes will go with that pet! That means if you have an Island Hissi with clothes, and you want the clothes on that account, but not the Island Hissi, you will HAVE to pound or repaint (and then transfer) the Island Hissi! If you transfer the Island Hissi, the clothes WILL go with him!

Wait! Your Pet is on Our Account!

Your fears are not unfounded, this is the biggest problem with giving away paint brush clothes, the person who has the paint brush clothes might just keep your pet once you transfer him over.

We have absolutely no intentions of stealing your pet, we enjoy giving things and making people happy, and we love our accounts more than your pet.

Listing clothes on this page is exclusive to long-time Nurturing Neopians members. We all know and trust each other, and we would not allow anyone we don't know (and therefore cannot guarantee they are honest) to be listed here.

In order for someone to list their clothes, they must put them on a pet and show at least 3 other members that they actually have the clothes. Also, you, the person looking for clothes, may request that we put the clothes we say we have on a pet so that you can see we have them with your own eyes.

We have also listed previous users who we have given clothes to and their comments. You may contact them with any further concerns you have.

A pet will only go through the transfers once a day! Do not worry if we do not return your pet on the same day - we can't. (If you try to transfer a pet that has already been transferred that day, whether or not you have transfers, it will say that the pet is tired and to try again tomorrow, or something along those lines.) We will do our best to transfer the pet back to you the very next day.

I think your clothes closet is great. It's reliable and dosen't waste time. It's also quick. I love it and my pteri finally has casings! The person that had my pet returned her the next day. The person took good care of her and did not trick me and keep my pteri.

HOW TO GET LISTED:
To get vouches, you will need a pet of the same species (doesn't need to be same color) as the clothes you have, then you will put the clothes you want to give away on that pet, and show at least three other guild members so they can vouch that you really have the clothes. Then neomail Amber (iluvlupes250 or _im_not_me_) with the names of your clothes and the usernames of your vouchers, and she will add your clothes to the list.

NOTE: If you have someone's pet on your account, please have them well-fed, happy, and NOT as your active to avoid color changing random events.
