As you're randomly walking through the desert, you happen to notice a small zafara on the horizon, looking at the distant stars above. Curious, you walk closer, for the first time noticing the fact that he's wrapped in bandages, and his blue fur is faded and pale, only a shadow of the color it once was. He must have heard your footsteps, for he whirls on you, his eyes wide. D-Don't-- He starts to say, his voice catching on his throat as if being used for the first time. But, he doesn't finish the sentence, and instead scurries awkwardly in the other direction. --- It doesnt take you long to find him huddled against the cold, barren ground. And, although he's asleep, he's shaking. He's weeping. D-Don't! he whispers in his sleep, a frightened look coming across his frail face.Don't come any closer! He blinks for a bit, beginning to wake up, reaching a bandaged paw towards his eyes to wipe away the tears. It seems that when he does manage to get some rest, it's only fleeting, and not very deep. But, as you're thinking, the zafara notices you again and scurries to his feet as a chill wind picks up. This time, he looks you in the eyes, although his are full of fear and tears. Please, he tells you, his voice shaking with the effort. He takes a few steps back before continueing. I beg of you, stay away. He backs away again, this time tripping on a rock and falling into a crumpled heap on the ground. You respect his wishes, and keep a safe distance, despite your curiosity. The zafara shudders, gathering himself up and sitting on the worn earth. I suppose I could tell you why it's like this... he says after a while, looking at the horizon and the rising sun. That is... if you want me to. You nod, and he begins. I'm Daovu he says, giving a small smile.And, unfortunatley I was born with bad blood My Story Coming eventually.
