Welcome

Notice

Hello lovelies, this is Kat. You may have noticed recently that Fiendfyre has hit a rough patch. Unfortunately life took a turn for the worse(neo wise) in a lot of the councils lives. We have decided to let Fiendfyre go, and turn to a new light at the end of the tunnel. We have made a new guild for those who wish to join us. You will see quite a few of the familiar friendly faces from Fiendfyre. If you wish to join our new guild, please neomail hp_phreak or piper_halliwell_p4. We are in a complete building phase and we will have many things FFB has, plus quite a few new ideas we are trying to incorporate! We would love to see you there!

About the Guild

Fiendfyre Burn was a semi-idea rolling around in Kats head for some time. She never took the leap to make the guild until she met Beka, and they started talking. With similar interests, they made the guild, and so Fiendfyre Burn was born. They were soon joined by Luy, Aria, and Nikki. These people made up the council, and are the whole reason behind the guild you see today. Each one played a pivotal point in the guild, molding it in to the perfect place for friends and potterheads alike. Kat and Beka run the guild as co-owners, with Nikki, Luy, Raegan and Beka being heads of houses, and Kat being the Headmistress.

With help from our amazing members we have made this guild a friendly, open, supportive environment. Out friendship extend out of the guild as well, to anyone we come across! Our members are encouraged to be friendly to everyone, and just have fun. We try to make this a low stress environment, with few deadlines. We know that this is a place for people who want to relax and chat, and try to make things easy for people with busy lives. Classes are not required, and neither are clubs. Both are encouraged though! We value conversation more than anything. Please feel free to neomail either Kat or Beka if you have any questions.

Rules

We don't have too many rules here, but please try to follow the ones we have...

General

-Follow all TNT rules.
-No drama. If you have an issue, please try to work it out. If it cannot be worked out, please come to a member of council, and it will be handled accordingly.
-Please be respectful of others. Being rude or nasty will not be tolerated.
-There are quite a few HP guilds out there. In the spirit of friendship and the quality of the Harry Potter community here on Neopets, we will not tolerate any bad talking other Harry Potter guilds, or their members. If you had a bad experience, you may of course share it, but after that we would like the conversation to move on and not "raged" over. We respect the other HP guilds, and would like to keep a friendly rapport between all other guilds.

Activity

-Please try and be active. We will not have a member cap, but we will be doing one sweep every other month. You will be given a week to respond to the neomail sent out for the sweep.
-If you are going to be gone for an extended time length, please let your HoH, or myself (Kat) know.

Member Sweeps

Unsorted Sweep

When you join please get sorted as soon as you can. If you remain in the guild for two weeks without making the effort to get sorted, you will get swept. You are welcome to rejoin but we do not want to have tons of members just sitting there unsorted.

Inactivity Sweep
When you haven't been active in the guild for a month you will be put on the mailing list for the next sweep. Activity could consist of doing a class or participating in a guild activity, or even just popping in and posting on the guild message board.

Message Board

-There is a minimum three-word post rule. Please post at least three words per post.
-We allow chat speak, but please, keep it to a minimum. No one likes to try and pick apart someone's acronym.
-Feel free to use smilies, but please do not post a message containing only a smiley. These will be deleted.

These rules are subject to change at any time...

Introduction

As you walk up to the pillar in the train station, you see Platform 9 and 10. You walk quickly towards the platform pillar, and as you are about to collide with it, you slip through and enter the busy platform crowded with young wizards and witches.

Welcome to the Hogwarts Express portion of Fiendfyre Burn. We are a welcoming, warm community of friends that love to chat and have fun. We made this section just for the people that want a straight forward page to learn what goes on in the guild. We have several sections outlining different things those looking for a guild may want to know so please take a look around and neomail Kat if you have any questions.

What we Offer

We offer a multitude of activities and pages for our members to participate in.

In addition to special events, we have several activities for message boards and advertising, as well as game board activities. We keep our activities up to date so we always have things for our members to participate in. You can find all of our activities here.

Being a traditional harry potter guild, we also offer classes and clubs, all of which are kept up to date. You can find a list of all of our classes and clubs on this page, under their respective tabs.

In addition to the aforementioned happenings, we also offer other services and activities. The Ministry of Magic houses all of our council requirements, and the breakdown of all the points you can earn here in the guild. It also houses our guild history!

Hogsmeade is a comprehensive page that houses collection pieces that you can actually purchase with the galleons you earn in the guild. These pieces can be displayed on your student trunk or in your house dormitory. The Headmistress Office is home to all things council. That is where Headmistress Kat keeps in touch, lays down rules, and sets up tasks for her council members.

We also have an Owlery where you can find a current list of our members, and their activity statuses. And if you are interested in what upcoming events we have, the calendar will show you! Interested in past guild mailers? The Howlers page will let you see them!

If you are feeling a little bored, you can visit the Three Broomsticks page to find some inspiration on things that you can do within the guild to earn house points or galleons. Our Luna's Looney Buttons page gives you an extra something to do if you are a collector! Also here at Fiendfyre, we have some extremely creative souls that love to share their artwork. In the Room of Requirement, you can find graphics and fonts made just for members of Fiendfyre Burn. If you are more of a person that likes to host pages, the Professors Lounge will take you under its wing and show you the ropes!

Headmistress Kat adores all of her members, and the lovely atmosphere and potential they bring to the guild. We have a Drawing Board for those that wish to submit ideas for any and every aspect of the guild. Our Headmistress takes every idea into consideration and truly loves and welcomes the ideas that any and all members share.

And last but not least, we love to show our appreciation to our members. The Trophy Room is a page specifically just for them!

Why Join?

You may ask yourself why should you join us at Fiendfyre Burn? Well that is definitely a good question.

If there's anything at all you need to know about Fiendfyre Burn if you're considering joining, it's that we're close knit. We may appear small to those outsiders looking in, but we make up for with the numbers with genuine passion - not only for the Harry Potter universe and all that the lovely J.K. Rowling has provided us with, but also for the guild mates who have joined our ranks and our family at the same time.

Not only are we incredibly proud and happy to have such a diverse collection of friends, we also pride ourselves on the ability to give each and every one of them a voice in our community. Everyone is free to chip in and present opinions or ideas in a stress free environment without the fear of being shut down or rejected simply because they are not a higher ranking member in our guild. We value everyone that comes through our doors.

Our goal here is to make our members a priority – on top of creating a community based on the world we all love and respect so much. From classes to common rooms, the amount of effort that goes into every facet of detail is not only evident, but extremely extraordinary. We're all fun-loving Harry Potter geeks and we wouldn't change that for all the galleons at Gringott's.

How to Join

The easiest way to join our guild is to go to the Guild Home Page and click "Join Guild." After that, feel free to neomail Kat and send her your sorting hat questions so she can sort you into the proper house!

Testimonials

Reed (dedicatedforlife)

-I joined this guild after searching for a few days, and have not looked back. Every one here is very welcoming and nice. A very friendly and warm environment. The council tries their best to include everyone and have a good time. I can honestly say that I don't feel like anyone is ignored or made to feel left out. There are some truly wonderful people in this guild.

Anna (bestkeptsecret_)

-I absolutely love every single person here! Everyone is so nice! We all love to joke around and have a good time! I've met some wonderful friends here!

Sunny (keepspinning)

-So, this guild, is amazing. Like, even though I am younger, they totally accept me for who I am, and my scheduling conflicts. We are all in different age ranges, but we all just get along so well! I love it here!

Raegan(Piper_Halliwell_P4)

-In the past I have always run my own guilds after being in many that fell apart of where the leaders and council didn't really care. I am so glad however, that Beka (dogloverluck) convinced me to give Fiendfyre Burn a chance. Everyone was very welcoming and I felt like part of the family immediately. They cared about any suggestions I had and were quick to answer any questions I had. The members here have quickly become my neo family and I love it here!

Sarah(asrenaz)

-There is always someone usually chatting, and everyone here so so very nice. The council really seems to take their time and listen to everyone. They seem to really want to form the guild around the members and their wants. Their layouts are absolutely wonderful. The Headmistress is always running around fixing something, or adding pages. She seems to really love her guild, and it really shows. The classes are really well put together. This guild has had A LOT of love and care put in to it. The members all seem to really love it here. I plan to be here until the doors close, which I hope is never!

Tony(shadowcrafts)

-Fiendfyre Burn is an amazing guild. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. This happens to be my first guild, and I absolutely think I made the correct choice. I can't wait to see how far this guild will grow.
