! Important Note: I can pretty much sum up that the reason these pets all remain permies is that they have inspired me to give them characters, stories, and art. If they didn't give me inspiration, they wouldn't be permies.
I. Zarova: Zarova was the result of hard work and dedication. I had wanted a Draik for a very long time, and I was determined to save up for one. Draik eggs were about 12 mill when Zarova was born. I had saved up around 7 mill when I got pretty sick with mono and at the same time my Opa had passed on so I went into a depression of sorts. My friend Mary surprised me one day when I logged on. She said she wanted to see me get my draik, so she donated the remaining 5 mill I needed to me! I bid on an auction for a Blue Draik Egg, and shortly after, Zarova was born. I used my very first FFQ to paint her Zombie C:.
II. Kharova: Kharova was a lucky pound catch. She used to be on my main, but has been switched around accounts these past few months, which is why she's uncustomised and her lookup isn't up :c. I'm currently working on revamping her design as well.
III. Syvelt: Syvelt has sort of a tragic story behind her. She was a gift from a friend who turned out to just be using me
. We had a huge fight that pretty much brought out her true colors. She got nasty and said that I'd probably trade off Syvelt or pound her because of it. I admit, at the time I was severely tempted to GUP her and pound her to be rid of all thoughts of the ex-friend. But Syvelt reminds me of what used to be, and I've put so much work into her that it would be a waste. Syvelt also hosts my Zombie Directory, The Graveyard.IV. Keswirr: Keswirr is probably the pet I was the most nervous about getting. I wanted him so badly, and I got so invested in his character. Another girl and I were finalists. Her app was so amazing compared to mine (Back then I knew nothing about coding), but according to the foster, her accounts were lacking. I pretty much jumped for joy when I got that neomail saying I was accepted. He was the first pet I ever BCed, and he won 3rd place the first time we entered
.V. Nestari: Nestari is the only Ixi on my Ixi account that I didn't adopt. I found him in the pound one day as a basic Ixi. I loved his name, so I snatched him up as a new labbie. 3 zaps later and he turned Darigan, sealing his fate as the disgruntled, stoic owner of a castle in the Haunted Woods.
VI. Iaacha: Iaacha was the first pet I every applied for. Back then I didn't know to save the date I got her or the foster's name. I just remember being so happy to get a pet I applied for! Iaacha started my Ixi account, and spun the beginnings of the story that surrounds my Ixis.
VII. Deloir: I adopted Deloir on August 1, 2010, from an amazing person named Vicki. She neomailed me asking if I'd like to adopt Deloir, and I jumped at the chance. I'd wanted a Mutant Ixi for a long time but never got around to making one for myself. He was the one to complete my little Ixi family.
VIII. Koift: My friend Perdita had told me that a friend of hers (Monica) had a Zombie Uni UFA, and that if I was interested she'd let her friend know. I said I was definitely interested. Having an idea for a very sinister character, I sketched out a small design and character bio to show Monica I was serious and not just looking for my friend to get the pet for me. Monica replied saying she'd be glad to give me Koift, and that even without my little mini application she would've given him to me *hugs Koift*. I adopted him on May 1, 2010, and he remains my most evil character yet.
IX. Accusal: I adopted Accusal from an UFQA board. The owner was quitting and just wanted people to post the name of the pet they were interested in and all of their accounts. A few other people were interested in Accusal, but most wanted her higher-painted pets (Accusal was just a basic Kacheek at the time). In an hour I got a neomail saying I was chosen to adopt, and Accusal went to join Koift.
X. Kunitai: I adopted Kunitai on January 8, 2011, from a girl named Cinthia. She had a board on the PC (One of those 'Pets UFT/A' boards, where they're UFA if no offers they like are found). I offered, saying I'd been looking for a Zombie Usul to add to my Zombie family. She wasn't interested in my offers, so I said if she decided to put Kuni UFA, that I'd be very interested. The next day I got a mail from her asking where to send Kuni
. XI. Xwangie: Xwangie's an inside joke between a few friends and I, about our friend Angela. I have no idea how it started (Something about her and Xweetoks), but we started calling her 'Xwangela' and 'Xwangie'. I made an animation of her with Xweetok ears, and it was all down hill from there! Xwangie was born and is my permanent labbie (Who refuses to change into a Xweetok again
).XII. Opa: Opa is probably my most sentimental pet. I mentioned in Zarova's description that my Opa passed away. Well, since the purge started I had been stalking Opa half-heartedly, knowing I probably wouldn't catch him, but still willing to try. Of course I didn't catch him. I was sad, but life goes on. One day, my curiosity got the best of me, and I sent a mail to the account Opa was on. I asked them if they ever thought of putting Opa UFT, and told them that I'd be interested in offering seeing as Opa was a very sentimental name to me. They replied asking what I had to offer, and that they hadn't thought of trading him, but since the name meant something to me, that they'd consider! I offered some pets, and they liked a RW. On February 11, 2011, my Opa joined me on Neopets, and he will never leave me.
Q4. What are you planning on doing with the pet you are applying for?
A: Lysua will be given a character and story. I already have an idea of her character, and I drew her design at the very top of the page *pokes it*. I'd enter her in the BC once I draw up an acceptable quad picture (The BC contest judge doesn't seem to like anthro pictures *pout*). I'm thinking of making this application into her petpage layout base. I fell in love with the background I used for the app - it looks so nice with her colors! She'll also be customised based on her character.

Lys is an enigmatic demon that haunts the shadows of people's minds. She draws out the greed and anger within people, and plucks the innocence from their souls. She is, in a manner of speaking, a soul eater. She gains power from those she corrupts by absorbing their pure souls and leaving nothing but empty, evil husks.

I'm quite the customisation addict, so of course Lys would be getting her own customisation. Since Mutants can't wear clothes, I decided on a nice look using a background and foreground.
The background would represent the inner minds of Lysua's victims, while the orbs would represent the souls. I can easily get these items by trading.
Q5. Why do you play Neopets? Four sentences maximum.
A: I play Neopets, because I thoroughly enjoy it. It's a major stress relief, and I have many friends to chat with on here. Also it's a great way to better my art, writing, and coding skills while having fun at the same time!
