A pirate's life for me...
Or so I thought...

You're walking threw the cold on an expedition looking for old boat wrecks and trying to learn about the ones that inhabited them. You see a very large boat crashed up on an iceberg in front of you. It doesn't seem to be very old, but you can tell nothings been there for maybe a year and a half. You hear a noise coming from inside the boat, and you wonder what it could possibly be. Going over to inspect, you see cream colored fur. It's slick but soft looking. You see the body going in the hole in the wall and hear sniffing. You tak a step back, not knowing if this creature is dangerous. You've never seen something like this before, although it reminds you of a maraquan gelert. You don't know why it'd be all the way out here, though, and it's color is odd for a marquan. You see an old bandana tied to what seems to be the creature's tail. when it starts backing oiut you notice that you were right. The maraquan gelert's blue eyes glare at you with deep hatred for a moment, then it vanishes. His tail is his body, not having hind legs like most gelerts. Of course, you knew that already. His ears go backwards behind his head, an unusual things for gelerts to do unless they're sad, but this one doesn't appear to be sad. He ignores you and crawls back into the hole, taking out miniature gelert figues. the have the same color fur as him, or at least some of them do, but they don't look exactly like him, though they bear a lot of resemblences, except for some that puzzle you much. When he comes back out with the last one in his mouth. He sees you looking at him oddly and you're almost sure you can see great amusement in his eyes, but it vanishes qquiet quickly. "I used to be a pirate, yes. A faerie pirate, some would say." The gelert began, gesturing to the figures that resemble him," I sailed the seas with no crew, all lonesome out there, but I enjoyed my life."He said looking at the wrecked boat. "I did fall in love, and I do have a few freinds, but I haven't seen them for a while."He said looking off into the distance at nothing."You see, I had three sides to me. There was the pirate side, which I called Mug, then the evil that I called Mugger, and then the good that I called Mug the Good." He said as he pointed to each of the figures, showing you wich one was of which version of him. "Ever since the kind old flotsam helped me I've just been Mugentu. I do now have a better life, though, and I enjoy it much. I got to keep my wings, and I can also glide under water gracefully. It's hard to live on land, tohugh, so I spend most of my time eitheer in the clouds or under the water. If you want I'll tell you my full story, but it'll take a while. I don't quite remember all of it from before the boat crash, though. Now, sit there," He said, flicking his tail torwards an icy seat."You may be wondering why I'm out here at the boat wreck now. I'd come here to relive my memories. It's nice to think about the old days"He said, his maraquan body sliding across the ice as he settled himself. You decide to sit and listen since he seems lonely out here and you don't want to hurt the wise gelert's feelings. He doesn't seem old, but you know that's he's seen more than most others you know, being able to fly, swim, and once being able to walk on land.
