Silent, but Strong

The solid sound of beating hooves echoes through the trees of the forest and the small meadow nearby. You were out for a daily stroll on the forest trails when the sound filled your ears. Peering around, you search for the source of the growing sound.

Soon, as it grew louder, you could hear what sounded like a flute mixed in, playing with the beat of the dancing hooves. Stepping out of the shadowed trees, you look out across the rippling grass and spot a black figure racing through the meadow. A uni! Hypnotized by her movements, you gaze at her outstretched wings and white tipped hair blowing gracefully behind her.

Suddenly, spotting you, the uni pauses in her running and pausing, stares over you wide eyes. Nervously she paws at the earth and flattens back her ears, her wings stretching out as if to make herself seem larger.

I won't hurt you!" You call, wanting to see such a lovely creature closer. The uni blows a nervous, inquiring note on her horn, giving you a start as you realize where the flute music you heard came from. "Oh!" You breath, amazed.

Flipping an silky black ear foreward at the sound of your voice, the uni nikkers and slowly, timidly walks over to you. Stopping in front of you, she watches as you hold out your hand and lowers her nose to it, allowing you to pet her. "Where did you come from?" You ask, still petting her nose.

Unexpectadly, the uni blows another note on her horn and a soft voice fills your head. Why, I live here, why are you here?

About Me

My name is Neysa, I was once part of a large, lovely herd, but I left. She plays a sad note on her horn and whips her tail. My species is a rare one, indeed, I haven't seen any other like myself since I left my herd. My species is usually very colorful, red with green stripes, pink and blue, you name it. I however was born with 'normal' horse colors making me an outcast. My species has the ability to play an instrument on their horn as well, mine, as you already found out, is the flute. She plays a small melody on her horn and smiles. I can't speak outloud like others, but my music is all that I need. We are also a telepathic species, which would explain why I am talking to you now. She laughs musically.

My species is also known for our athletic abilities and the fact that we never 'sweat'. Instead, the heat escapes our body in the form of sparks coming off our hooves.

Seraien:

I really don't see Seri very often, she is always hiding or wandering around. She has a curse that forces her to change into a monster at night, somthing that she can't control at all. I can often see the beast in her eyes during the day as well. She really is very sweet, but gives me the chills.

Cute_Kliio:

Kliio... she is strange, a little too forceful for my liking. She is a water ixi and enjoys showing off her skills with the water. She seems to have an attidude that makes me think that she believes she is better than everyone else. I don't see her much anyways.

Gallatea_Wind:

Gallatea is a very bouncy and friendly fun loving water faerie draik. She is a healer in training and adores helping other people out and playing with children! She has a rather innocent kind of nature and hates violence of any kind. She is fun to be around, but, I don't see her much at all since she tends to stick near water.
