Chestnut, Meej and Shrimp
Welcome to my Guinea Pig shrine! This page is dedicated to the memory of my two late piggies, Chestnut and Snowy. My other piggy friends, Mummy Meej and Master Shrimp helped make this page with me for them. We hope you like it!
This site has been open since 30th August 2000.
Snowy was put to sleep on the 7th April 1999 because of a dangerous Cancer that was crushing her windpipe, making it hard for her to breathe. And I decided to make this site following the recent death of her life partner and sister, Chestnut. She was put to sleep because of a tumor on one of her kidneys. This made her pass blood in her Urine. She was put to sleep on 15th August 2000. They are now buried in the far corner of my garden under a rose bush. At least they are together now. When animals die it is hard not to be sad and depressed because they become such a big part in your life, but a least they are happy and if they were in pain, their suffering is over. When Snowy died, it wasn't right. There was only Chestnut. The pair had been separated. But luckily not forever. I will never forget them.
