The convertedTrading Guide

providing unambiguous trading values since 2014

Introduction

Welcome to the The Converted Trading Guide run by Ceilidh. This guide is organized alphabetically and can be navigated using the colors on the left. There is a "back to top" link on the bottom right of each section for easy navigation.

NOTICE: Hello, Ceilidh here! So it's been a while since I've been on neo, and so I realize some of these values may be out of date. I will be adjusting/updating these values soon, thanks for all your patience and continued support for the guide!

If you have general questions about the guide, please check out the FAQ section at the bottom of the page.

If you have further questions about your trade or pet click on the second to last link from the bottom titled "Ask".

Goal of the Guide

This guide aims to provide clear and concise trading values of converted pets for people who want to figure out the value of their pets, or who are new to the pound chat and are interested in learning the general values.

Disclaimer

This guide is not 100% accurate and trading does depend very much on the person that you are trading with and how lucky you are (if you are on at the right time to see the right board to get the right trade), but this guide tries to give you a more general idea of what you should be seeking or what is a fair trade based mostly on color.

How It Works

Only some of that tier nonsense

As per the goals of the guide to give you clear trading values, there will only be brief tier levels, but that will not be the only thing that indicates the worth of the pet. Instead this guide will also tell you exactly which paint brush colors (and in some instances some specific pets) that are of equal value and that you could trade for.

General Tiers
Low
Mid-Low
Middle
Mid-High
High
These will be located right under the color, but further explanation and specifics are given below that.

Name Categories
WN - This will be the best name category, as VWN does depend on opinion. This generally means that the name is pronounceable and is under 9L
DN - The name generally has one number, is lowercase, or is completely unpronounceable and unappealing phonetically
BN - The name has more than one number, has an underscore, is gibberish, or has a combination of the three

Simple Key
^ - slight uptrade
* - slight downtrade

This will be placed next to the possible trade colors. For each section certain species will be highlighted to be more or less popular than the norm group of that certain section. The species that are more popular in that section will generally trade for ^ pets, whereas the species that are less popular in that section will generally trade for * pets.

Past Trades

This is not a full past trades guide, but below each color there will be a list of past trades made the month before. For example if it is August, it will show trades for that color pet in July, etc.
After a month the trades will be deleted assuming that they no longer reflect an accurate trade value.
*PLEASE NOTE: That these past trades are what has been submitted in, and that I cannot patrol them to see if they are true or not. Also keep in mind that some people may get lucky and that certain trades may not be the norm for that color. As this is not a full past trades guide, they are there to assist you in that you can see actual trades that are happening, however they are not what the main focus of the guide. For general values, please still do look at the list of possible trades.

Low Colors

These colors will not get their own section, and generally any color that has it's own section in this guide will be able to get these colors (however it is not true the other way around). They will generally trade within this group and for each other.

They generally trade within themselves though, the key is used here for slightly more popular or more unpopular colors. Specific pets that trade significantly better than the norm will be in parenthesis next to the colors.

Possible Trades:

Desert^
Island
Halloween

Past Trades:

Draik

High

Draiks are extremely popular pets and the end goal for a lot of traders. They are high on the trading scale and will generally trade for each other.
However draik trading can be erratic, as people may be willing to downtrade for a dream pet or a pet that they really like.

Particularly popular or high end draik colors are: Maraquan, Water, Wraith, Plushie, Desert, Mutant, Chocolate, Royal, and Stealthy.

High end draiks with RW/RN names or with high BD stats will have a better chance at getting UCs than other converted pets.

Robot and ice draiks also trade better than the draiks listed though. Robot draiks are worth more than ice draiks as they can only be obtained through zapping and therefore are more rare. Robot draiks have a better chance of trading for low end UCs than other converteds.

Colors marked with a * in this section indicate a common trade for lower end draiks.

Possible Trades:
Plushie*
Royal*
Krawk*
Pea Chia*
Alien Aisha
White Kacheek*

Past Trades:

Mid-Low

Mutant pets are generally unpopular due to their difficulty to customize - mutants can only be achieved through a transmogrification potion or lab ray.
Mutant gelert, ixi, eyerie, acaras, and poogles trade better than the general mutant, especially acaras and poogles, and so possible trades marked with ^ are only for those.

Possible Trades:

FAQ

Here are some generally asked questions about the guide. However if your question is not answered here feel free to neomail Ceilidh by clicking the envelope below.

What sort of past trades are you looking for?
I am only seeking past trades if at least one of the pets in the trade is converted. That includes draiks and krawks. I am not interested in UC only trades, and I am also not interested in basic RW/RN/BD only trades. However a trade between a painted pet and a basic RW/RN/BD is perfectly fine.

Are you still looking for past trades?
I am always looking for past trades. However I am only interested in past trades of the current month. So if it's August, I am only seeking trades made in August.

Is there a form for past trades? No I do not have a form for past trades, but I do have boards up at the end of every month seeking past trades where you can post your trades. Otherwise, simply neomail me with the name category (please see the beginning of the guide for how I categorize names), species, and color of both pets.

Further Questions

If you have more specific questions about your trade (such as including names, stats, etc.), feel free to neomail Ceilidh by clicking the envelope below.

Please only mail if your question is specific and not a general value question, as that has hopefully been answered in this guide.

Ex. Is Xxxxx the chocolate kougra for Xxxxxx the halloween aisha a good trade? My final goal would be a royalgirl blum.
and not
What could I get for Xxxxx the chocolate kougra?
