Hello Mel, or whomever is currently reading this, stalkers as well, and welcome to my application for Aerliin; the Faerie Peophin. My name is Breanna, but I like to go by Fleana; really because I have never really liked my name.
For this application, I wanted to try something different from what I have in the past; a different style, I suppose you would call it. Spread out over two pages, making it neater. I like it better this way, sine it makes it less daunting to read, and overall more interesting.
I've put hours of work into this, and I really think you'll like it.

As I said before, my name is Fleana. I'm fifteen years old, and will be going into my sophomore year of high school this upcoming fall.
I love reading fantasy novels, and always have my nose buried in a book, when I'm not drawing. My enjoyment for creating adventurous and crazy stories seams to stem out from my love of reading.

I like to create stories such the fantasies I read for my characters; being able to step into their world, being able create the world yourself, its almost like you are living through them. Doing things you couldn't normally do. Sure, I could write about someone in our everyday world, but where's the magic to that? Another thing I'm a fan of; is music (though, who isn't?) I normally don't just listen to the stuff played on the radio, since I easily get board of it; but I love instrumental soundtracks. I have been known to be called a soundtrack geek since that's all I tend to listen too ^^; but I find them uplifting, and a good way to look for inspiration. Well, if you haven't figured this out, you might as well know, I'm a artist. :D I've been drawing for around three years now, if you don't count crayon scribbles from when I was much younger. I do a lot of digital work, but I also do traditional mediums. I find I'm more into the traditional art phase at the moment, and I'm currently really into watercolors. I started doing watercolor for the first time in February and have been hooked ever since. It's a nice break from sitting in a computer chair for hours on end, and you can also hang your work up on your bedroom wall. (My room is covered with them ^^;) I took a drawing class this last year during school, and tried for the first time drawing with charcoal. That's what I used to do the layout for this page...its not very good in details since I'm not used to the medium (actually it utterly fails ^^;) You do most of the coloring and smearing with your fingers...and by the time I was done, my fingers were completely black xD Either way, its fun. I don't write a whole lot, other than the stuff on my pet pages and in neomail role-plays, but its makes it easier when you have a good idea. It's just finishing a story that's a killer for me.
As far as neopets goes; I joined way back in November of 2003, and haven't stopped playing since, and don't plan to quite for some time. Neopets is actually what got me into drawing, and opened up a lot of things for me. Currently, I spend a lot of time saving up neopoints to complete my dream pets, and working on my characters pet pages. I find I create my characters from neopets themselves, and making pet pages really helps develop them and turn them into who they are.
I do chat on the boards every now and then, but not as often as I used to, since most of my time is spent towards my pages. I do enter the beauty contest during the summer every once in a while, but to me, its take up a lot of time. But I have placed before, so I can manage to do somewhat well in it. ^^;

I have five accounts in total, and I have never been frozen or suspended once. I have been warned a few times on my main over the years, one time for being a newbie and not knowing anything, and another for having my deviantART link in my signature. Which had been there for well over a year?
But, anyways, my accounts;

My first and main account, which I am pretty proud off, actually. I have a lab rat on there, and three of my lovely pets, Flaries, Aviael and Keoula. I collect avatars when I can, and have gotten into the art gallery a couple times, and I participate in site plots.

Fleana

When TNT finally deleted the account Fleana, I recreated it at long last. It's currently my foster account and all pets on that account are or will be going into lab treatment. Once they turn into something nice, I put them up for adoption. Though, sadly, it's hard to find good owners. But a few have landed with active, decent owners. ^^ Which is the best I can hope for.

Whiterains After I painted Icecreasts with a Fountain Faerie Quest, a story about four elementals; Water, light, fire and earth streamed from her, and the characters are currently all residing there. It's more of project, if you think about it. My goal is to finish it up this summer, or at least by the end of the year. Flightfull It kind of came as a surprise that I finally figured out I liked drawing aquatic neopets, and yet I had none xD Flightfull has turned more into a aquatic account since that is what it holds as I started to create some aquatic characters, which I had not planned at first, but it fits anyways. (Well, not the username) If I had more room, Aerliin would have been invited her, but sadly, I'm simply out of room.

Is my second oldest account, and my only one that's actually has room for taking on more pets at the moment. Not much to that account at the moment, other than I chat there.

Why Aerliin? Well one of the most obvious reasons that pulls you into her is the fact that she is a unconverted faerie peophin, as you well know.
That and you might recognize the layout for my pet page half from the first time you have Aerliin up for adoption. My close friend had wanted to apply for her back a year ago, so I made her a design and layout in order to help her out. I must admit, I was extremely proud at how the art turned out, and a little jealous of my friend who got to use it to apply. But the art has been my main lookup for the past year, and even made it into the art gallery. Which says something, since I usually dislike my art after a few weeks, because the mistakes are now obvious.
Now that Aerliin is up once more, and I know my friend will not be applying for her again, I thought I'd give it a try. Why not? I loved the design, and hated to see it go to waist. I feel utterly cheap re-using the layout, but I made this one anyways ^^; So I feel a bit better. I really do hope you understand.
Aerliin is much more beautiful in her current state then she would be now, and the difference is obvious. Really until my friend asked me to draw Aerliin, I had never really thought about drawing peophins much. Since then, I've created two of my own, and I love them dearly...after realizing how much fun they are to draw. The second piece that of mine that has managed to get into the art gallery is my peophin; Rozelta xD

Usually faeries don't appear to me, maybe because they are just too "girly", I suppose. So are some of my other pets, but then again, their designs and stories are usually far from that, so I guess that makes me makes it up for myself. But then again, faeries look so different than the rest of the pets, and offer up more ideas and inspiration when it comes to designing them. Either way, I still don't understand why faerie peophins need wings when they live underwater...but I still like them.

For once I had a hard time coming up with a story and background for Aerliin. I had to think about, and it really didn't reveal itself in its full form until I was halfway through writing her story, but I had it. And as always, I was eager to get it down, but without a story and idea, it would have been completely pointless to apply for her.
True a design is one thing, but a personality is what brings a character to life. Now I'm sure you want to hear it, but we'll save that for later, shall we? ;D

I've actually never done this section before, simply because I never really liked the idea of it much. But I thought I'd try it anyways, though I doubt what I say here will change your opinion of myself as a owner.
Why me, why send your highly sought after pet to Fleana93? For a few reasons I suppose. For one thing, I will never let her rot. If one thing that bothers is that when I pet goes to a new home where it forgotten; no lookup, not pet page, not anything. I know from experience how hard it is to find a decent owner though; many of my pets that I have put up for adoption has ended up in dead ends, sadly. I can say that will never happen with me. Especially with putting all this work into a application, and then not doing anything? What a waist of time. Even if I do, many years from now, quit neopets for good, I would put all my pets up for adoption. Even my close favortis, they would do better than to rot away.
I cannot promise foolish things such as I will feed her everyday, but I will give her what she deserves; a pet page and a sense of who so really is, which you will soon see for yourself.
To me the best thing you can do for your pet is do give them a personality, making them come alive so that they could nearly be real. Even if my pets do not all have pet pages, they have not gone unforgotten, for they do have a personality that I have created. Even if I did quit, Aerliin would still remain as a character of mine. Simply because I would be too attached to let her go at that point; she would not be dropped from the face of the planet.
I would draw her; there is no doubt about that, since it is what I do. To say in short, she would be going to a decent home.

Why not me? I find this a much easier section to write about than the previous, since I know my faults and know them well. For one thing, I can be a horrible procrastinator at times and hesitant to makes decisions. I can put off finishing a pet page simply because I have a hard time finishing the story itself, or I don't really feel like working on the endless adoptables.
On the other hand, I always feel like the art is old and needing updating, and wish to completely redo the page entirely.

I'm terribly shy, and can have a hard time approaching people, and I have a deathly fear of what others think of me x.x I can't produce art like a tree; since I put time into my pieces, it takes longer. So I will sketch Aerliin quite a lot, but there will not be a stack of completed pieces for youspend hours sifting through. Some people also look for owners who regularly enter the beauty contest, of which I do not. I sometimes enter during the summer, but not all that often since it takes up a lot of time, as I have said before. Others would also say that I already have too many beautiful pets and do not need another.

Though truly, I can only take on about two more pets, and then I would have no more room at all, I guess. But what dose it matter, its not like I neglect them?
Oh and I cannot spell worth pickles and I'm the worst type-o queen. At least this application is spell checked for you! xD Though everyone has faults and there is no perfect owner, mine always seam to bring me down, though I try my best to work around them.

Ah, the possible plans. Well, first thing is that Aerliin would be moving into my side account; young_starfire. And of course, she would have a pet page; like any other pet of her status deserves.

I have already made her a lookup, and have it displayed, I there are links for you to see it posted below. A lookup to me is rather important in itself, because it shows a little insight into who this pet is. A summery I suppose, and anyways, it would be a shame not to give her one. I decided to keep her Faerie Searex as a petpet, because she seams to go well with Aerliin. That and I'm starting to run out of petpet ideas ^^; But I think I will change the name to; Tarnoa, if you don't mind.

Also a background was chosen for Aerliin, and along with it, and it is displayed on the lookup for Aerliin. There is not as many water backgrounds as there for the land pets, so the choice is limited, even though there are a great number of aquatic pets out there. I decided on the Underwater Background; it goes well wither her, in the least, and is pretty.

Like I stated before, I would be giving her a full pet page, and perhaps entering in the beauty contest one time for the summer is over. I always would love to try and role-play with her; even though my role-playing skills are feeble. And as always; who would be drawn :D

I'm quite proud of my pets, to say in the least. Well, to the extent where I have all started to design them each in one sort or another...that I have something actually accomplished for each of them.
I have adoptable a total of four pets before; Sioa (too_cute212) and Aviael through application. Aiyaake was given to me from a friend and Elfenfeder was just a really good find, I suppose. I've earned the rest; and since pet pages are my big thing, let me show you them;

I have four completed pet pages, and though Flaries dose not have a story, I doubt he ever will, due to the fact that I just can't think one for him. Aviael's is the freshest, and I really enjoyed finishing her story up.

Are my work in progresses. I only recently created Zakirrianua, so that's one of the main reasons why I'm behind on his. Aiyaake is brand new, so his page is a little empty as well ^^
I was hoping to finish more of pet pages before I started applying, but the lack of immediate deadline scared me a little. So I started this as soon as I could.
I have only one other character developed that's not on neopets, and her name is Vianna. I hope to make her someday, because she's a super cool cheetah wind goddess.
The rest of the time though, I create a character through neopets, working off the images and pets, and building them from there. I suppose you could call it a starting level, but either way, they help a lot surprisingly.

I keep a bunch of pretty and neat items in my inventory at all times, because I'm completely random like that and I like them. I also tried to put together a gallery of items for Aerliin...but it kind of ended up looking like a bucnh of itesm throw together too. Oh well, they are all meant for her anyhow :D
