~~A Guide to Hasee Bounce~~

Type: Action
Controls: Mouse or Arrow Buttons w/ Space Bar
Neopoints Ratio: 300 Neopoints per 100 points scored

So you want to know how to play Hasee Bounce? Let's start at the very beginning. The window and what all you need to know about in the game. Here's what should pop up when you open the game:

1 & 2.) These are Jimmi & Woogy. What they do will be explained below.
3.) Your timer. This is how long you have until time runs up.
4.) Your total points.
5.) These are specialty doughnutfruits. Note that in the background there is an announcement saying a special one is going across. :)
6.) This is your average Doughnutfruit.
7.) This is Dung. There are several different types that pass, basically if it doesn't look like a doughnut, or a letter, don't go after it!
8.) These are the letters. They fly past one at a time, in different colors. More on that below.

Okay, So, What's the Point of the Game:

You have two Hasees, Jimmi the purple one and Woogy the orange one. One starts out on top of a tree branch and the other at the bottom, on the side of a see-saw, whenever one jumps, the other is propelled up. Below/Above the Hasees, items float by. There are three types of items that pass:

1.) Doughnutfruits - They will all give you points, but some are worth more than others:

Yellow - 1
Blue - 3
Silver - 5
Green - 4
Gold - 10
Checkered - 12
Sponge - 15
Fire - 18
Ice - 20
Rainbow - 40
Fish (I have never seen this fruit) - 50

I have also heard of, but never seen the following happen:
Phantom Orange Shirt Guy flies by, he gives 42 points

**** EDIT *****

I have confirmed the POSG is part of Hasee Bounce. :) Thanks to all the Neopians who neomailed me on this one. Here's a screenie, thanks to Jebbica for the screenie:

**Note** You can create combos of doughnutfruits. For example, if you grab a yellow doughnutfruit and a green doughnutfruit right after, the green one will double in points. This means you will get a total of 9 points (1+4+4=9) for just two doughnutfruits! This is especially helpful with the higher point fruits like the rainbow or the icy one.

2.) Letters - There are both Orange & Purple letters that form the word "HASEE." The Hasees can only catch letters of their own color (Jimmi can get purple & Woogy can get orange). Each letter will give you points and will extend your time by 2 seconds. After spelling the word "HASEE" your time will increase by 20 seconds, giving your more chance to up your score.

3.) Dung - All sorts of it. Dung will stun your Hasee, and you will not be able to get any doughnutfruits or letters until after the stars go away.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...How do I Win?

1.) The easiest way to gain points, is to get as many doughnutfruits as possible. You can get more than one every time you jump or are propelled up. Remember that there are different types. However, if you skip the lower pointage ones to get the higher point ones you might miss out on making a combo. You should try for both. Which results in higher points for you!

2.) Another option is to skip the majority of the doughnutfruits and go for the letters. Not only do letters give you points, they extend your time. So this method could be considered the most efficient. Another perk is to get letters of all the same color. If you spell out Hasee with all purple or all orange, you get not only 40 points, but your time starts over. I really suggest this one for anyone who is pretty well practiced in this game, but not for anyone new to it.

3.) A Combination of both going for letters AND doughnutfruits. Just remember about the bonus points and time extention you get for all one color letters.

Tips/Hints:

1.) I find it's easiest to use your keyboard rather than mouse. I find there's more control. Remember when you jump down, and hit the see-saw, your other hasee will instantly be the one you control. So if you are pushing the one hasee left, the other will go left as well. So be sure to keep an eye on where you will be going.

2.) It's Easiest to see and control the hasees if you put the screen size as "Large".

3.) There is one cheat that I have found, doughnutfruit. It will restart your time. You can only use it once per game though.

4.) I find the best way to get the most amount of points is to try to spell out Hasee at least one time before your time runs out. Then, use the cheat when you only have about a millimeter of time left (type fast!). Your time will start over and then I try to get in another "HASEE" as well as try to get as many specialty doughnutfruits as possible. Good luck to you! :)
