You walk out into the night, making your way past the dreary alleys and blinking neon lights of Neopia Central. Soon your walking brings you to a small clearing where the light plays gracefully over the tufts of grass popping from the cement. You glance upward, fully expecting to see a large, plain silver moon, but instead a thinly carved golden moon hangs poised in the air. Intricate framework accompanies this moon, the light dancing off blue gems and golden fixtures. What you see next sends your mind into mental turmoil. Hanging lightly from the metal moon is a single trapeze bar with a silvery blue faerie kougra perched on top...


.:Story:.

The kougra stares off into the night, her neck craned forward as if she's trying to see something that no longer exists, or never existed in the first place. What was it? What were these emotions swirling about inside of her saying. So faint they were, they seemed almost ghost like. Something, or someone was telling her something, but what? She bent her head slightly and closed her eyes, a small smile creeping across her face. She knew very well what those feelings were. Like lightning she vaulted off of the bar easily catching it again before she plumented towards the earth. Her agile frame curved around the bar, her motions like that of water, smooth and graceful. The kougra swung back and forth, with each swing her body getting lighter till it was like she was a blue star in the deep night sky. Quickly, she turned so that her back was to the bar, clenched the metal rod in her hands and spun up over the top of the bar letting her feet dangle in the sky as she neared her origional position. Then she glanced down to the land below, grinned and was gone.
You shake your head and glance around, but you are alone just as you were. A bit frightened, yet intrigued you trudge along through the evening, occasionally glancing up at the sky, but you do not sight the kougra again.

The sky and trapeze are my loom and emotions are my thread. Dreams come from these. I weave the dreams of all Neopians and blow them across the seas to their owners. .:Trapeze Guide:.
Here are some helpful tips that I've collected over time that might help you in your trapeze training.
  • Make sure to swing your entire body weight in time and rhythm to that of the swing.
  • If you feel your grip loosening, let go. If you hang on past your limit, your chances of a graceful landing are slim.
  • BE SAFE! Take safety measures, and don't take huge risks or try dangerous stunts, your health and saftey are the most important things to remember.
  • Have fun and work hard. You can't progress if you don't put some serious effort into it.
  • Set up a regualar practice routine. Set certain amounts of time aside each day to practice.
  • Here are some good things to practice and work on while you're not swinging: weight lifting, push ups, sit ups, running/jogging, chin ups, and simply hanging on like a tree branch.

Some things to remember:
1) When you begin trapeze, it will hurt if you haven't done alot of swinging/gymnastics etc. Your hands and arms will need to build up alot of strenghth in order to hold you when you're swinging.
2)Keep at it. Try to practice regularly.
3)Have fun!
